Hello fellow Thunder’s peeps.

I recently started hanging using a 3Lb weight for 5-12 minutes. I notice at the 6-8 min mark the tip of my penis gets cold is this normal because it scares me. I read that cold is a negative sign when hanging.

I always warm up before I hang but I still get cold at that 6-8 min mark.

To all you hangers out their who hang for 20+ minutes is the tip of your penis cold?

Also if not what solutions can you recommend me?

It’s normal for it to become colder because of restricted circulation, what you have to watch out for is darkening, numbness and other similar symptoms.

Same for me, normally happens around the 10 minute mark.

Just watch for numbness/pain. i give the head a little twist/flick every few minutes to be sure.

One time, I missed a timer and was approaching 30 minutes when I started to notice numbness. Trust me, you will definitely notice if you are in a dangerous zone.

I just started hanging and it does get slightly cold nearing the end of a 20 minute set but nothing major.

Try using heat for the entire duration.

You need to be careful, but don’t be paranoid. The penis is a pretty durable organ. From what you posted you’re use of weight and time is highly conservative.

Just wake it up and get the blood flowing again, you’ll be fine.

Would you mind elaborating on why you recommend using heat the entire time?

In the research that I did before hanging, it seemed like there was debate over whether to use heat for the entire duration, or for just the first half of every set.

I was wondering about your take on the matter, as I’m not too sure which to agree with.

I find that heat relaxes the tissues and makes the experience more comfortable. I also think that it allows the tissue to stretch out more easily.

On my last set for the day I usually take the heat off, so that as I’m finishing up the temperature is on it’s way back to normal.

I don’t believe in the idea that one should use cold at the end of this. It’s too much of shock, and I think that it’s therapeutic value is almost nil.

As I indicated before, after hanging the penis needs to have circulation stimulated again, heat will help this. After this I usually put at ADS on for a while (I use one of monkeybar’s earlier model vacuum stretchers) as the penis returns to normal temperature. I don’t have the vacuum stretcher set to pull with any force, just enough to keep me in an extended state as things return to normal.

I also have used a stealth vacuum stretcher at the office (sitting at a desk and wearing baggy pants for trips to the bathroom to pee or adjust), set at very low tension, and have found that has helped enormously.

The use of large weight my penis has become stronger and stronger, instead of becoming longer.I m decided have to stop the hanging and come back to the wet jelq to remedy the situation, because after 7 months I have not got anything hanging on the length and I was even scared that my penis becomes shorter. What do you think? I do only vet jelq? To stop everything and take a break from a few weeks?

I’d take a break for 3 months if thats the case and do some serious research on how best to get gains.

MrHappy what sort of constant heat source can you think of that would be stealthy but effective.

Thank audacia, unfortunately too late, I read instructions from HANGING 101, which states that large weight leads to cock only be strong but not long. I do not know whether my concern is overstated. As far as I understand your advice is to take a break of three months? I thought a few times a week do a light wet Jelq to cock back alive again, because for 7 months I’m totally hanging launched wet jelq.

You could try changing angles for a while, if that fails then sure, a 6 week to 8 week decon break could help. However, if you haven’t reached 20lbs yet, I don’t think you should take a break… maybe you can just change your angle of attack.

Most guys claim they gain the most with less than 20lbs. I don’t know why this is the case; it just seems to be the case that when you can reach fatigue with 20lbs or less you can gain a bit more easily (this is purely anecdotal and I don’t know the reasons for this). So many guys rush to do more weight when really, as you said, if we approach things wrong we simply increase the strength of our penis when our true objective was deformation.

One more note… I wouldn’t agonize about the amount of weight you’re using. You should be aware of the weight, but as long as you reach fatigue, the weight really doesn’t matter. If you’re going to worry about something, worry about reaching fatigue early and riding it ;)

Keep in mind though, you can keep increasing the weight and keep gaining. You can also change angles or switch to fulcrums which will target your tissues in new ways (and in those cases you’ll like need to reduce the weight).

Also, be sure to maximize your ligament deformation gains; supposedly this is the best way to approach hanging. Some guys reason that maximized suspensory ligaments help prevent these from acting as a limiting factor vs tunica gains. That means you should hit lower angles until your penis exits your pelvis straight down. Once you achieve this you can swap to higher angles (e.g. OTS), or move to fulcrums if you feel ready. Of course, you’ll need to do maintenance at lower angles to maintain your ligament deformation gains.

Just make sure you reach fatigue and ride it, and stay consistent with your angle of attack. If the gains don’t come, study a bit and make sure you’re making the right approach and your technique is right. I’m sure you’ve noticed as you move up in weight you must continually refine your technique.

About the OP’s question, I think Mr. Happy’s suggestion is excellent. I have seen more than a few guys who made fantastic (and perhaps ‘fast’) hanging gains by using heat.

Also, I feel the same way as Mr. happy about a cooldown (I don’t think a cooldown is a good idea for a hanger). I strongly prefer a warmdown with hanging because you’ve got to restore circulation. Maybe a cooldown is fine for other types of PE, but with hanging you’ve been cutting off circulation for 20 minute periods, possibly for a few hours in a row. I think adding heat and getting your blood flow back is the best approach.

Yes, I use heat between the series and it’s a great thing.the frst 3 series and not feel tired in the first three days of the week get tired a lot because I work hanging five times a week, fatigue between 4 and 5 coming days, it is clear that this should reduce the series and relax se.Problem appeared with decreasing eraction the impression that the penis as there is less eraction like to lose the way I longer.I m vet jelq to revive those strong eraction and penis. That I had in February 2010 to determine whether there was an increase in length even for 1cm or not. I arrived in October 2010 that the last series reaches about 19lb (10kg)! But I keep my camera hanger rope while the higher it would not withstand all that weight my cock and slowly release the rope to the weight and the penis go all over the floor, usually have two positions: standing and the new position of lying on the bed with the weight down, which stretches my penis. Penis in flaccid state it for longer after such series! Vet will try to revive the Christmas tree and measure if it has received and will start with a 1cm hanging method, but reduce the weight and not help with the rope, but do not hold the hanger to let less weight stretches the penis maximum
