Hanging question


I have a lot of 8 and read I should hang straight up or OTS.
I also read that when you first start hanging you should hang
Between the cheeks until you stop gaining.

So which is best?

I have a low lot so should I do OTS to hit the tunica?
Or should I do it BTC like “they” say?


I don’t have much hanging experience yet. But as I understand the theory, you should start hanging BTC first. That way you can finish out the lig gains before hitting the tunica. Then target the tunica afterwards. Hope this helps and I’m sure someone else will reply to this with more advice. Good luck.

I concur with NDK. It is commonly accepted that lig gains are easier to attain than tunica gains. With an 8 o’clock LOT, you have some good potential for ligament lengthening. How much? Who knows.

Plus, BTC (or SD-straight down) is a good place to start learning about hanging and getting your feet wet to the process.
