Hey there, today was day two of my hanging program.

Wrap: 1.5” by 15” cotton wrap just above the head, followed by a 1.5” by 15” theraband wrap
Device: Big hanger
Weight: 1.5kg
Duration: 20 minuites

After the first few minuites the head of my penis goes slightly cold and slightly purple, towards the end of the 20 min the head is a little more cold and a little more purple. Is this normal?

I feel i have to tighten the bib hanger really tight since i have kind of a cone shape flaccid, i still have feeling in my penis through out the hang session and i use a hair dryer on the head to keep the temperature right.

I’m guessing its always going to go slightly darker and slightly colder even if the wrap and hanger tightness is perfect?

Any things i can try to improve this? When i loosen the bib hanger is slips off my cock ever time

Make sure your wrapping technique is correct!! It sound like your wrap to tight!!
As a beginner you shouldn’t jump straight to 20 minutes, take it slow you can build 2 sets of 10 minutes first or 3 sets of 5 minutes.

If go slow you will end up GROWING
If go fast you will end taking long time off due for injury and your gain will be lost

I spent a few hours trying different wraps and i think i have it sussed now. I’m using really light weights in a longer duration and just build up the weight slowly? Read on a thread somewhere that heavy weight & short duration is the same as light weight & long duration.

I cut up an old t-shirt which has really thick soft cotton, 15” by 1.5”, i wrap this very loose with some tape to secure it. Then the 15” by 1.5” theraband which i wrap quite tight with some tape to secure. Then with my bib hanger in place it seems i can sit there for an hour now with no discomfort.

So happy i have it finally sussed out i was struggling adding the weights because of the skin stretch

Skin stretch shouldn’t be a concern when you’ve got sufficient clamping.
One of the ways you can be sure that skin stretch will be minimized is to pull the clamp over to one side and then the other before any weight is applied. This will tell you if the skin is going to be pulled at all. You can feel it. If you can feel any stretching in any way what to do is loosen the clamp just enough to allow the skin to be pulled out from which ever side is tight and then clamp again. This way you know that your pulling the ligs and not the skin with it.

A little skin stretch is unavoidable but it should be very little over a long period (months). I’ve gained some skin over 3 years or so but it hasn’t been enough for me to get excited about. If I looked like I was uncut I might become a little concerned but that isn’t the case.

Just take some common sense precautions before loading up your weights and that should suffice.

Heat should be applied to the ligament area, not to the head with a hair dryer as you indicated. The coldness of the head isn’t really a problem, but an indication of a problem.

The above I forgot to mention. Head temperature is not something to worry about, as mrclyde6051 said, as much as the circulation to it which is the controlling factor. While clamped your going to suffer loss of circulation which is going to create a cool head and darkness from lack of oxygen. If your limiting your hanging periods to 20 min or less and then restoring that blood flow then your going to be OK. Let the darkness and coolness be, its normal.
