Hanging not working anymore!?!

Hello everybody

I started PE about 2 years ago. After about 6 months i started hanging and got some good gains. I need to say that i mixed hanging and clamping during the week. So i thought to maximize length gains i take a break and will only focuse on hanging. So i took a break for about 2 months where i only did some jelqing. Then i started hanging againg starting again with lower weight and working myself up the last 2 months to the weight where i stopped last time. I hang 5-6 times a week, 3-4 sets, all as we learned on TP. But with my first measuring i had to see, that i even lost about 0.2 Inches!
How is this possible? Anyone has an idea?
I also have to say that i changed warm up and warming between sets from rice sock to infrared lamp, but i don’t think that should do any difference…

I appreciate any input.

So you’ve just reached or exceeded your former weight (which is?)? Do you feel fatigue/ soreness? What angle do you hang at? Have you tried to do 6 sets?

I am at 10.5pds (4.75kg) right now. I hang BTC and i never did more then 4 sets. As soon as fatigue stops after Set 2, i moved up the weight a bit. One more thing comes to my mind: I also did fulcrum hanging before the hanging break. Maybe this helps someone…And also i used a selfmade hanger and now i have the BIB starter, which to be honest feels worse to me then my selfmade hanger, since i feel like i only stretch skin.

I’m new to hanging, and I was wondering how long did it take for your gains? I’m going on week six and haven’t really noticed any cemented gains. I know it’s mainly from lack of sets. I only do 1 set due to my schedule, during the week, and on the weekend about 2-3. In your situation, maybe you should try bundled stretches /fulcrum stretches? I use mainly an extender also for about 4-6 hr’s on Sundays, after my vacuum hanging sessions.

This is most likely your problem. Read info on Bib’s forum. He will probably tell you your wrapping is too thick (can’t grasp the internals), the hanger is not tight enough (tighten to slight discomfort before putting weight, wait a bit and tighten a bit more), or you’ve not formed the shoulders (gently push back and forth when you’ve slightly tightened the hanger).
You need to feel an internal stretch, if you only feel skin stretch, you’re stretching skin. Also if you’re uncut that could be an other reason (a few threads give plenty of details on this, you’ll need to experiment).

How long have you been hanging? Are you doing some jelqs also? Are you measuring BPFSL?

Vacuums are good for internal stretching, I learned that from reading one of the vet’s, Marinera’s post.

Are you measuring the day or day after you hang? Usually you have to wait 3 days to get an accurate measurement.

I’m not sure you fully grasp fatigue. When a person hits fatigue, the discomfort is too much to continue at the same weight, so you find yourself lowering weight, not increasing it.

As for skin stretch: if you are not tightening your hanger enough, you WILL pull skin. If the hanger is not tight enough and grasping your internals, you will get some shaft stretch, but mostly skin. Also, do you pull your skin back toward your body before fully tightening?


Serious starting point: Nov. 2, 2009/BPEL 5.75 x 4.75 inches.

Current BPEL 7 1/2 x 5.5 inches.

Goal: BPEL 8 x 6 inches. Hell, if I hit 8, I'm going for 9!

What were your initial gains with hanging?

Maybe you just lost some EQ. Clamping could have given you extra EQ and now that you just do hanging you lack of EQ. Maybe some good jelqs with 70-80% erection would be good for you

Marinera: I used to hang about 8-9 months, now i restarted maybe 2 months ago.

Schlong: I have a TLC Tugger. For me they don’t work, because they also stretch my frenulum which i don’t want.

Dinosaur: This might be a sloution. I will try to measure when i take a little break.

q92: I gained about 1.2 Inches. My EQ is over 100% i would say. One reason i hang is that my penis won’t be so rock hard anymore. It’s barely movable…

So your issues are with the Tugger and not the Bib starter?
