Since I’m new here I can only post this in the newbie forum. I’m not new to pe I’ve been on pegym since 09. I just started hanging currently doing 6x20 min sets btc with 5lbs with my bib starter. My question is when hanging I feel a stretch like this \ / above my unit that spot is a little sore afterwards and so is the base of my shaft is this correct. Also somtimes when hanging my head gets a little discolored that goes away quickly is that bad? Thanks in advance for any info.

Do you feel the stretch on skin or deeper? Don’t worry about head discoloration if it goes away quickly. Your technique will get better over time. Make sure you do not have too much blood in the head and have the hanger tight enough.

I always squeeze any blood out of the head and I know skin stretch feels like a burning sensation and I haven’t felt much of that. So I think I’m getting a deeper stretch.

I’ve read it already along with tons of other info on hanging over the years I just couldn’t find a good description on what stretching the ligs feels like. So I decided to ask and make sure.

Thanks to the moderator who moved my thread I would of started it here if I could of. Last question I’ve noticed about 1 inch of red slightly irritated skin at the base of my shaft any hangers who wanna let me know if you have experience a similar thing.

That would be skin stretch.

So I’m stretching both my ligs and my skin right now? I know bib said in a post that he suggests dedicating 2 weeks to skin stretch at the beginning of hanging. I’m asumming the btc angle is the cause of this and other angles I move to later on will target the inner structures better. Or I’m doing something wrong with the wrap or hanger.

You might not have enough skin to do BTC without skin stretch. It’s easy to tell. When hanging BTC, is your skin tight? If it is really tight, its taking most of the stress.
