Just wanted to post a positive thing about my hanging- I am gaining!
I changed my routine a little bit:
1) starting with 40-60 dry jelqs, during this I heat my ligs with an IR-lamp
2) hanging for 20 min
Repeat 1 and 2, 1-3 times, ending with the jelqs
Kegels during the day and o-bends+wet jelqing under the shower

Stay with this routine until x-mas - hope for NBPELxEG 6.7x5.4 as a Christmas-present!

Which hanger are you using?

I have only used commercial hangers: the Bib Hanger and the Redi-Stretcher. Both are excellent devices and seem highly unlikely to cause injuries unless used improperly.

You may just be overstressing your penis or you may be mentally messed up and that’s why you’re having erection problems. Only you know the answer to your problem.

I started hanging one week ago and thought, that it isn’t well to jelq before a hanging-session?!
I think it’s logical, because of the high blood-circulation after jelqing.!
What are other members thinks about this factor??

I prefer to jelq later in the day. I think that jelqing beforehand might cause some unwanted plumpness that would make the hangerslide.

Some agree with this theory, while others say that jelking can prestress the tunica and make it easier to elongate when you switch to hanging.

I think that, as someone previously mentioned, the workout will stress your cock and therefore your cock will act differently. I haven’t been jerking off hardly at all since I’ve started the program. My dick actually feels like it’s getting more attention than it needs even though I’m not coming.

The only long term damage I could see getting done to your unit is whatever damage YOU CREATE by going too fast and not being aware of your own specific limitations. Compared to some newbies I’ve heard talking around here, I’ve got a titanium dick- but that’s me. I’m gaining and was actually clamping and hanging right away- only got the red spots on my head once. However, gpent got through to me when he told someone else about “teasing the gains” out of your cock. This is now my modus operandi. I was obviously going too fast and heavy and *could have* spurred my body to heal in a less than perfect way. The only way you’re going to make your dick unhealthy with this is if YOU GO TOO FAST and therefore spur your collagenous tissues into more of a “scar tissue” response than a *healing one*.

I, for one, feel that jumping into hanging with 5-7 pounds is way too much. I “hang” with four golf swing weights on my dick (really more of an ADS) for an hour a day and that is a hell of a stretch for me- gives me the hanger’s “tree trunk” look and obviously lengthens my unit. So why should I hang with more? Why condition your dick to hang more weight than you could gain with? You may find out that you’re unduly *strengthening* your ligs at the same time you’re stretching them thereby making future gains harder to come by.

The bottom line for me is to do the lightest amount of work that keeps me gaining and which allows me to heal up COMPLETELY. This, in my opinion, is the way forward to a dick which is not only *longer* but *healthier* as well.
