Hanging BTC for over a month now

Hi,

I’ve been hanging BTC over a month now, and I reached 2.6kg.
Was wondering if I should move to OTS or stick with BTC?

I do 3 sets of 25 minutes. Starting with 2.2kg and then 2.4 and last set with 2.6kg.
I rest 10-15 minutes in between.

Wait until you see a drop in size gains, and then switch.


Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

I haven’t gained anything yet.

I would stick with BTC. How many days a week do you do your routine?

I do 6 days. I usually did 3 times 20 min, but recently (like a week ago) I do 3 times 25 min.
But I raised the weights pretty fast because I don’t get the fatigue feeling.

Should I raise the time to 30 min or longer?
I’m already at 2.6kg now.

Why rest?

Even on weekends I steal a set or two when I can.

Because once a week I got to stay late at work. After that, there is no time to do any excercise. I go straight to bed after a shower.

But can/should I raise the amount of time of hanging?

Call me dumb, how do you exactly hang between your cheeks? Seems like however you do it, it’s an awkward position.. I want to start doing it as I am hanging straight down.

Lay down on your back and put your feets on a chair or something. Between the chair and the ‘thing’ you’re laying down ot, must have some space for the weights .

I use my bed.

Hi to all,

I’m new to Thundre’s Place(few months) and my 1st post. I need some advice.

Here we go! I have a LOT of 6 and have been hanging BTC for 9 months consistantly 6-7 days a week(up to 12lbs) as suggested with no erect gains and some flacid gain. Now should I change to tunica hanging, and at what weight should I start at

With a low lot, in theory you stand to gain more from hanging at upper angles. You may also want to look into fulcrum hanging.

To the original poster, you shouldn’t be in such a hurry. If you just began hanging and have focused on BTC, that is great. But one month is not long enough to expect gains. This is a very slow process. Also, it is suggested to not hang over 20 minutes as that is when tissue death can occur. So rather than extend each interval, try to add sets. Also, if you can, try and get at least one set in every single day. You create deformities when hanging, and you don’t want to give it time to heal and toughen up your unit.

In hangers 101 there’s an answer to your every question. I’ve been doing BTC for about 4 mo + and can start to feel that I’ve got no resistance while hanging BTC at the suspensory ligs between the base of my dick and the pelvic region of my groin so I’m guessing that’s a good time to hang in what ever position you want. From my understanding and from following the example routine from hangers 101 is that progression weight, and time hanging progression should be 2 or 3 pounds with 20 min sets adding 1 set a week until you reach 6 sets then increasing in weight by one pound per week. So as I understand, you should hit 6 20 min sets daily and I guess around 10 or 12 lbs I felt that the suspensory ligs BTC had reached their max resistance. Hope that makes sense

I’ve been having excruciating pain while hanging and have had to cut back on weight, time hanging, and sets hanging for a few weeks now and was looking for help but need to hit 30 posts before starting a new thread, so here’s to number 1.. Sigh.

What I should have said is tunica, I think that the lower ligs are called the suspensory and the upper is called the tunica.

Should you hang for more than 20 minutes?

Personally; 3 sets of 20 minutes a day minimum, ideally 6 sets.
