I stripped the thread on the tightening-bolt of my BibHanger trying to get a grip on the inner penis, so that the BibHanger didn’t slide —the sliding was preventing me from hanging heavier weights.

Eventually I bought a medium-duty C-clamp to clamp the BibHanger to my internal penis. (I don’t recommend doing this. I’m just sharing my experience so that other forum users can learn from these insights)

I found that if you succeed in getting it to clamp on the inner penis without it slipping (as I can do at very low weights ) you can get a very intense stretch that really hits the ligs hard (I can’t get the C-clamp tight enough for heavier weights because it pops off when I tighten it too much)

When I got it to clamp right down on the inner-penis I got the best stretch I’ve ever had.

Having stripped the thread on the bolt trying to get a tight enough grip to grasp just the inner-penis I’d have to say that I’m pretty sure that the BibHanger doesn’t ship in a configuration that allows the gripping of the inner-penis straight out of the box. With some adaptation however, it could do so.

The way the BibHanger works is to distribute the forces between the skin, lymph-‘pad’ & head, and the shaft & inner-penis. When you get it tight enough to grip just the inner-penis you get a much more intense pull on the ligs with lower weights then you would normally hang (you probably wouldn’t be able to hang your regular weight when you have this kind of grip with the BibHanger)

I don’t know how guys can hang 20lbs/10kg with a BibHanger— I just can’t get mine tight enough.

Thanks for the insights, Mr. F. I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing that most hangers don’t grip the internals. I just want to understand how they actually work and maybe improve upon their designs. The issue is that I think there is a lack of understanding.

The reason it interests me is that I need a tighter grip to hang the heavier weights.

If my length-gain gain-rate drops off I’m probably going to have to look into getting my BibHanger machined so that I can get a better clamp on it. Either that or take a decon-break (which would probably be more sensible).

Yep, Piet is correct.

I have hung with a fulcrum and the penis rotated at 90 degrees, but not because of some fancy theory I had.

It was simply a matter of comfort.

But the gains were good (almost 0.2 inches per month)

A little background info:

I have been using an extender for more than 1300 hours now, With good gains during the first 500 hours, The last 800 hours has only given me a little FSL.

I then started hanging with an AFB hanger, I hung 4 kilos for 40 hours with a little gain in FSL, No EL gains.
I lost the feeling in my glands and stopped hanging. The feeling came back after two days.

This Sunday I started hanging again with the strap type extender head piece, I hung 3 kilos for two hours + 3,5 hours extender. Monday I hung 3 kilos for 0,5 hours + 2,5 hours extender.

A strange thing happened yesterday, I hung 3 kilos for 1 hour + 3,5 hours extender, And in the evening I got an erection, It was strange, it looked longer, So I had to measure and I had gained almost 1 cm EL yesterday!! WTF!! This is my first gain in EL for months!

The point to this thread is:

Why did I gain from 3,5 hours hanging with a strap type hanger, And not from 40 hours with the side pressure type hanger?

I do not get numb from the strap type like I did from the side pressure type hanger, That seems to be the opposite to everyone else?

Does the strap type grip better? It feels like it pulls under the balls (only SO hanging) more than the AFB did.

Ok the good part is that I know excatly what I did yesterday, I will write it down, And try to do almost the same in the days to come.

And I really hope the gain is still there today, I have worked really hard for it, I will measure later this evening.

It’s good you stopped hanging with your AFB when you lost the feeling in your glans. Something must have been going wrong all along. Fortunately I have never experienced this from hanging, but I have experienced a numbing feeling at the end of long stretcher sets from too much stress on my foreskin and pressure against my glans. I think something similar must have been happening while you were hanging with your AFB, or you had a case of twisting.

I think your gain was pretty much already there but because of the stress on your glans it wasn’t showing and your break must have come at the right time. Anyway congrats on your gains :up:

What exactly is a strap-type hanger? Are we talking about a noose?

I was wondering about that too, but forgot about it :D I think he means the head attachment of his stretcher.

It is not a hanger, When I got my extender it had a noose type head piece with a silicone tube holding it in place, Later on I bought an improved head piece with a rubber strap instead of the silicone tube.

I never was able to figure out how to use the new type for my extender (difficult to fasten while stretching the penis out at the same time), So instead I modified it a little so that it would work as an hanger.

I drilled a hole on each side in front of the head piece (where the steel rods goes), Then I pulled a nylon string (2-3 mm thick) through the holes an secured it by making a knot on each side (anyone understanding me here?). Ok when finished there is a nylon string between each side of the head piece, This is where I attach the weights.

I also changed the rubber strap (it really is difficult to fasten even when not fitted to the extender),
And I fitted a nylon strap with a locking system instead. This really works great, I also use the nylon strap for clamping. I have actually never seen a picture of anyone using a strap like this before, It is really great for clamping.

So in short it is an extender head piece with a 2 cm wide nylon strap instead of the rubber one.

Well I did not measure yesterday, So I am really hoping that the gain is still there, And if not it will hopefully come back and stay permanent if I keep doing the same in the days to come.

Yes it twisted, And I tightened it till it hurt without stopping the twisting. Every time I attached the weights the penis rotated inside the hanger.

It started with the numb feeling, And the numb feeling stayed longer an longer for each time I hung.
One day I lost the feeling in the glands and also maybe 1” of the shaft, I could only feel the shaft.
I got a bit scared and decided to never hang again, But I really want to reach my EL goal and the extender is not getting me there, So I am back to hanging now :)

I am still crossing my fingers here, Really hoping that the gain is still there and that it will be permanent, Thanks Piet.

Interesting thread. The only hanging I’ve done is with ~6lb using a vacuum attatchment. That definitely pulled on the internal structure because the skin remained loose and unstretched. Although I think this is about the limit for vacuum hanging (because of the increasing vacuum pressure with increasing weight) the beauty of it is you can hang long sets of 1hr+ because there is no constriction of blood flow.

In fact when you deduct the amount of weight that is being borne by the skin with “grip” type hangers maybe the vacuum hanger becomes even more effective in comparison.
