Hang Without Wrap?

Sitting; BTC, SD and my personal favorite, “the swami”…BTC with legs crossed on the desk in front of me. Pressure is focused at 11 o’clock and 1 o’clock. No blood buildup in glans…that happens as a result of compression of the CS…as I’ve tried very hard to make clear, the configuration that I use (see underside of BIB photo) doesn’t compress the CS at all, it ONLY compresses the top of the CCs. I can hang indefinitely with this configuration…60 -90 minutes is typical. Like I said, I meditate while hanging, sometimes nap too.

That’s awesome. I believe I may be switching to this set up since my glans likes to swell with blood and it gets very uncomfortable. How long did it take you to figure this all out?

Hanging that long, do you ever reach fatigue? What do you feel is happening to your penis and ligs in all of this? Do you feel you’re pulling out inner penis, or stretching the tunica? I’m trying to imagine how at 100 lbs that your poor dick didn’t macro tear.

Also, from my experience with the hanger and a wide lower gap, doesn’t the top close a LOT quicker, with less grip? I’m just trying to wrap my head around this (no pun intended).

No offense taken. I’m experimenting with my bottom out further and definitely feel less tension in the glans. I appreciate the time taken to share your knowledge and pics. I’ll more than likely shave down the teeth as well, at least on top for now.

I hate to say it, I am reading this thread thinking I might need to buy another hanger or 2.

I already hang with only a 5 minute break between sets just to try to maximize my time. But a continuous mega set really appeals to me. I would have to build up my skin conditioning for it.

It would also probably alleviate the attachment discomfort on the underside of the shaft.

I guess the main thing would be to not just go by feel but to monitor the color and temperature of the glans as you go up in time.

I definitely love the idea of no underside pain, no swollen, purple glans and longer sets.

I’ve been following this thread and have been using the AFB up until about a month ago and I’m convinced ‘for myself’ the hardcore bib is the way I’m gonna go. I can’t get above 4 lbs with my home made hanger. But that’s me I’m not saying anything bad about the AFB I’ve just taken it as far as I am able.

Hey, I’ve been back at PE for about a month and a half now, (after having stopped a previous 6-month routine which resulted in about an inch in total gains.. Finished about a year ago) hanging between 10 and 5 lbs for about two hours a day on average. I’ve seen pretty intense gains, going from about 8 1/2” NBPEL to about 9 1/2 NBPEL in that six-week period. As background, I have a mild form of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome which results in unusually stretchy tissue all-around, which may be contributing to the fast gains. Anyshways, I’m considering a mixed approach to PE moving forward (hanging, clamping, and pumping) and was curious about advice on what to focus on.. As well as guesses about what might have contributed to the fast gains (skin stretch, lig stretch, tunica growth etc)?

As an uncut guy who’s never been able to use the bib without the blood accumulating in the gland problem this is a very interesting read and I’d like to thank xenolith for his work. His gains are insane. I’ll give the bib another try without wrapping and with a similar configuration the the photos posted by xenolith even though I’ve the standard bib.

I think the top screw so tightened is often avoided for the fear of damaging the dorsal nerve but it doesn’t seem to be the case here.

Ok, I gave it a try and the problem of the blood in the gland was slightly better, I also managed to hang 4.4 lbs without too much trouble even though for only about 10-15 minutes, that’s weights I could never have hanged with using a wrap. The problem is my FG seems to bee too small to let the bottom hexes unscrewed so both the top and the bottom of the hanger are all very tightened, maybe I could do a bathmate session before hanging even though that’s is something that’s always been adviced not to do on the bib forum and faq.

If your flacid girth is small you just need to add more wrap.

The whole wrap, bottom gap, top gap can be one of the most frustrating things about the Bib. However, it has to be done.

If you can hang with no wrap even at higher levels then more power to you.

However, it just takes adjusting and then fine tweaking to get the correct dimensions.

In regards to the blood in the glans you need to squeeze it out while attaching the hanger. However, my guess is you are not tightening the hanger slow enough and tight enough. This is allowing blood to keep flowing in creating that internal pressure. Plus if the wrap isn’t good the hanger is probably slipping forward which will create a noose like effect.

Just focus on the fundamentals of attachment and wrap technique and it will be worth it in the long run.
