Hang to fatigue and finish off stretching

Can you hang your max weight simply to fatigue your ligs and then finish off by manual stretching? Can this be done effectively?

I do not understand. What would be the purpose of the stretching? Why would this be better, or differ from continuing to hang at a lower weight?

Stretching after reaching hanging fatigue would do away with the hassle of wrapping and re-wrapping, putting on and removing the hanger. Basically I had a scare with the hanger last night. After my second set when I removed the wrap I found little black dots. I freaked pretty much. After some dry jels and slapping against my leg for about a half hour they were gone, but I’m a little scared now.

First, you do not have to take the wrap off. Second, what does it take to put the hanger on and take it off? Couple minutes?

The idea behind hanging is that you do not have to dedicate time with your hands to stretch. You can do other things. I you want, you can only stretch, and not hang at all.

What were the black dots? You have to do what you are comfortable with.

It wsn’t so much the taking off the hanger and putting it back on it was the wrap. I didn’t know that you didn’t have to remove the wrap after a session.

As for the black dots, I don’t know what they were, but the sure did make my heart skip a beat when I saw them.

Maybe these black dots were an extremely dark purple. Maybe they were places of no blood flow which started purple, and slowly went so dark that they looked black.

Yes, you can manually stretch after hanging with a fowfer stretch and/or SWM’s BTC stretch and then strap on my BTC ADS device for the rest of the day.
