Give away groth when start to hang with high weights ?

Do I give away groth when I start to hang with high weights instead of lighter ones, or is this o.k. as long as my unit can handle it ?
So if one can already achiev groth at 2,5 pounds but starts with 10 pounds
doesn`t he give the chance to gain in the range from 2,5 to 10 pounds ?
Or doesn`t it mind, because therefore the growth with hanging 10 pounds comes faster ?

I don’t think anyone knows for sure Joe, but what I do know is this. ALL my hanging gains have been achieved using less than 10 pounds.
To me, 10 pounds is heavy!

The one problem you may face is that if you jump straight to 10, you may toughen the tissues quickly and hit a plateau sooner than if you hung with a lower weight.

Andrew, what weight do you hang at? How long have you been hanging? How much do you hang per day? And what are the gains you’ve experienced?

That`s exactly the point.

And the question is if you get faster gains when hanging heavy so early or not.

If this is not the case, you are right.

The problem is:

I am hanging with this amount of weight since some weeks, and I am not sure if my ligs have already adjusted that much, if so, it would not make any sense to go back and hang with lower weights, because that would not have good effects !?

I personally have been hanging for about 3 months and I have noticed on some days 5 pounds is heavy and on others 10 pounds, so I think you will continue to get stretch gains with lower weights if you have days where 5 pounds feel like 10.
