After 10 years and 2400 hours of hanging I’m getting rid of the hanging stuff. I have a vacuum hanger (several cups), wts and sleeves all free to whoever wants them. It would help if you live near Palm

10 years 2400 hours, 240 hours per year, which mean you hang less than an hour a day, say 2-3 set a day, you have gained a lot in TEN years.

The Holy Grail

Good guess. It was about a 10 year period and averaged out to about 240 days a year. I did it in two sessions a day, about a half hour in morning and half hour in evening. I started at 6 lbs and went up to about 16 lbs for the last1000 hrs or so. Results a mixed bag. Flacid I went from about 2” to about 5 1/2”. Errect I gained about 1/2”. But strangely enough my girth increased from 4.25” to 5”. So to gain 3” erect one would have to hang for 60 years which indicates that we are pretty much stuck with what we are born with. It is like the holy grail: we can never quite find it. But the hanging was fun. I grew to love the feeling of the pull. I have a whole set of vacuum hangers, hypofix tape, and wts that I would be gad to give away free. No I won’t mail them, but if you live near Palm Springs you could pick them up. Just pm me

I didn’t see any increase until I went up to 10 pounds and I started averaging 10 hours a week. I know that number of 10 hours was thrown out there as a guideline but it seems to be accurate for me.
I am pretty sure that if I increased the amount of sets hanging I would see greater results. I don’t have huge amounts of data but I really feel that up to a certain limited time per week your results will be very limited. Perhaps getting up to some huge weight could counteract that limited time but again I don’t have access to data like that. I really wish all the hangers would log hours and weight. There are other variable but we might be able to see a pattern.

I think if you don’t put in enough time you penis just has to much time to heal and even build resistance. I’m not talking Wolverine healing but when I put in the extra time I can actually feel the stresses transferring from one area to another. When I first started their was stress everywhere but the majority was on the left hand side going upwards. As I increased time hanging that area’s stress greatly lessened and I believe I can feel the next limiting factor which is right above the shaft area. I didn’t notice these things until I became more consistent with the time I was hanging.

You might be correct that with your physiology it could take 60 years at the limited amount of sets you where hanging to gain 3” erect. I just wonder if you tripled the sets per day would it take 20 years or would the time decrease even greater because of a cascading effect of pushing through limiting factors before the first limiting factors have a chance to heal and potentially get even stronger.

It is still nice to have gained and hopefully you where multitasking so you don’t consider that time spent as a huge time sink.

Yes, you are right, I did other things while hanging and it was no waste of time. Plus the feeling of the pull grew to be wonderful. I should have mentioned that I always had stronger night time erections after hanging. I did keep exact time that I hung but not the amount of wt. I varied the routine by 100 hour increments to see if I could find what would work. I first started with 6 lbs and quickly went to 8. I was hanging more time a day then—about 2 hours, although a few times I went to 8 h in one day. I wanted to see if more time at lower wt would give better resuts. It didn’t. At 10lbs and above, time becomes more limited due to comfort. I developed a simple wrapping technique that all but eliminated blisters. I measured carefully every 100 hrs but never found a real groove that I felt worked, so I just kept increasing the wt. to see if more wt and less time would give better results. From about 2000 hrs to 2200 hrs I hung at 17.5 lbs. But it was uncomfortable and I decided that 16 lbs felt best. I found that bone-pressed measuring is a crap shoot, so I measured by using a vacuum tube with a scale scratched into it. At 10bs pressure I took the measurement. That gave me pretty reproducible results which did not depend on the hardness of my erection.

Cool results regardless. I am guessing that most of us would be “almost” ecstatic with your flaccid gains. You basically turned yourself into a shower. Has that result stayed after this time?

Yes, I went from a “grower” to a “shower”. You know how it is with the flaccid state. In hot weather I’m often at a full 6” and in colder weather about 5 1/2” It really has been a nice change for me and it appears permanent. I stopped hanging about 9 months ago and there has been no decrease. Such extreme hanging does come with a price. It did cause a narrowing of the urethrae to the point where I had problems peeing. This caused me to have a urologist do a dilation which was a very painful procedure. In order to preclude having to have another one, I am now sounding every day to keep it open, and no longer hanging. Luckily, I like sounding; In extreme cases one has to self catheterize in order to pee, but luckily I stopped hanging before it came to that. So there is a limit to hanging. But I still use a mushroom head vacuum tube every day to pull it gently out to it’s new length of about 6 7/8”. Measuring the same way, I was about 6 1/4” when I started to hang. So was it worth it? To me it clearly was, not just because of the modest results but because of the many hours of that wonderful pull going right to the center of my being. But hanging does result in injury no matter how you manipulate the wts or the time.

I know that sweet pull feeling to. Man, loved that feeling and do miss it. No time now. I have a full life. I didn’t for a long time then.

Did you ever do other exercises like jelqs or manual stretches, or fulcrum hanging?

In answer to Dickerschwanze’s question, I spent the first 18 months just jelqing and stretching, but realized that I need to have the pull for prolonged periods. That is when I started hanging. But I also found that the huge gains that I had before hanging could not be sustained. Everyone has an inch or so that is hidden and can be pulled out in the first months. I didn’t like fulcrum hanging. Happy to say that my message of a few hours ago resulted in giving everything away except the weight set. I have a set of 6 wts, each two pounds and they screw together. They are round and polished steel, so they make a great looking torpedo when together. I paid about $30 each as I remember about 12 yrs ago. I think I bought them from The Grip, so you might look on their site to see if you want them. They are free except that you would have to pay the postage, which on 12 lbs I imagine would be $15 or $20 by parcel post. But you would be getting a $180 set for your postage money. I’ll mail them to whomever wants them and you can send the postage money after you get them.
