I’m getting back into PE after taking about 4 years off. I’m trying to regain the size I had back then. I’ve been making strides but recently I’ve run into an issue I’m hoping to rectify.
I used to use a cap’ns wench to manual stretch with my foot. I decided that it would be better to use something a little safer and more easily regulated, so I picked up a bib hanger.
Over the last 2 days I’ve been noticing some temporary numbness in the tip of my glans. It went away last night after a hot soak, but then it came back again today after a bit more work. I must have something wrong with my technique.
I have 2 strips of theraband, 2 inches wide, and about 18” long. I stretch out, smooth my skin down, and then wrap around the shaft from just below the glans. Both wraps go on, and then I attach the hanger just below the glans. I hang with 7.5lbs for 20 minute sets with 10 minute rests between. If at any point I feel uncomfortable, I stop, usually for the night, at absolute least I take a couple hours off.
Earlier in the week I tried to go up to 8.75lbs, but that was uncomfortable. I’ve been working up from 10 minute sets over the past couple weeks. Maybe my sets are too long?
I also hang with a set of PE weights almost all day prior to my hang sessions, the total weight there is 1lb 11 oz. I take about 2 or 3 breaks from that depending on how I’m feeling.
When I wasn’t feeling this numbness I would do a single 20 min clamp set at the end of the night.
What am I doing wrong? Am I plainly overdoing it and need to slow down?
I’m cut and have never had a huge amount of sensitivity in my glans. Post orgasm is still super sensitive, even last night. Maybe all the pinching to apply wrap and weight is causing it to ‘block out’ some sensation? I’ll take a break if necessary, but I’d prefer to figure out my technique before coming back to it.
