First day of hanging and WOW!!!

So I recently acquired both a bib and an LG hanger, both used, and tried the bib at 4.4 lbs this morning for a solid 20-minute hang. Since I am starting out I wanted to start things off slow so I was just gonna do one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I just tried the LG hanger and wow… Not only is it way more comfortable but it is WAY more intense. I struggled to get my penis to form a seal for awhile since I don’t have a ton of girth but I got it to work and thought I would hang at the same 4.4 lbs for a good 45-minute session. As soon as I let my penis take the weight I could feel it was more intense and felt more direct as far as targeting the penis internals. I made it to 15 minutes and I started to get a bit of dull pain so I immediately stopped and did some manual stuff. One other thing I noticed is I did not turtle from the LG but I did from the Bib which I find strange.

I am going to use the LG since it is more comfortable and also cut the weight in half and only hang 2-2.5 lbs and see how that works tomorrow. I am amazed at both of these devices. The Bib seems super solid and like you could hang as much weight as you want and the LG seems like you can use less weight for the same or maybe better workout. Just thought I would post this here for the other new people browsing the Penis Hanger Forum to see and maybe learn from.

4.4lbs isnt the range where a standard hanger like BIBs is the best. When we go up to ~16lbs thats where the standard hanger outperform the others

This is the truth, the bib is made more for heavy hanging not comfort, as a vac hanger is the other way around.

Sure, but how heavy do you really need to hang? The videos seem real on youtube of King Snake hanging 25 lbs using the LG. Do you really need more than 25 lbs?

And I’m sure they are.

Most hanging vets say at around 15 pounds was where they started gaining. I’ve seen gains at around 10 pounds and suspect I would see more at a higher weight. Lower weights will take more time under tension to reach fatigue

I feel both have pros and cons but I prefer bib

Fair enough :)

I am at 5 lbs with sock hanger, long way to see gains :-)

I got all my gains between 2 and 8 pounds.

Your technique on the Bib will improve over time. Check out the “hang without wrap?” thread for some modification ideas.

In the meantime, sounds like vac hanging is working well for you.

Heat and time are your friends. Good gains to you.

Did you have to put in 2+ hours a day?

I did 2-4 hours a day in the hanger in 1-2 month bouts, once or twice a year, gaining about 0.2” each time.

That is a long ass time to hang. What did you do while you were hanging? I find myself getting bored and stopping at 50 minutes lol

I did work or read through old hanging threads, or threads at Bib’s forum. It would eventually drive me crazy being glued to the chair for so long, but that’s why I’d stop after a month or so.

I might do another cycle this winter, as I’ve lost about 0.1” length. That is if winter ever arrives - anybody else got no snow in the middle of December? Global warming?

I like hanging in winter because I get to sit next to a warm IR lamp, and I’m naturally less active so being in the chair so long doesn’t bother me as much.

That’s pretty much when I do most of my hanging the problem is November and December, having a wife that’s a teacher and a bunch of school age kids doesn’t bode well with all the off time they get. I too can’t take being tied down for that long,after about 6 weeks I loose it. Plus I got spinal problems so I can’t go up too high without issues. I wish my spine was still as strong as my cock! And yes we have snow in upstate NY

I’m not sure if I would hang if I couldn’t multi-task. I like hanging because it’s efficient, gives a good pull without ever giving me hand fatigue and allows me to multi-task.

I’m lucky now to have some office work pending in the evenings, so hopefully I can get into a good hanging routine while doing my daily work. So, I’d recommend the same to others. Get busy doing SOMETHING.

I also recognize myself in what Bearded Dragon says. Sustaining a hanging routine is tough. I had great gains in my last 2 month hanging phase, but didn’t have the patience, discipline or even opportunity to cement my gains. So, I lost most of it…
