Dorsal Nerve ?? Slippage?

Hi all, first time posting. Like everyone here I had a tough time hanging with BIB and getting a good lig pull. Before BIB, I had a fairly good pull with swimcap method - althought I was using less than 1 1/2 pound. After numourous tries, I decided to figure out what I am doing wrong and here is what I came up with, 1) BTC does not stress my lig - its was only stretching my skin, 2) I was uncomfortable in chair - kept felt like I am going to fall off the chair as I am sitting on the edge and trying to keep the BIB clear, and 3) I get a better lig pull when I stretch left or right. With that I came up with a Jig that I could use in bed and orient the jig to my left or right (I move the jig couple of time per session). Attached is a diagram - sorry I did it pretty quickly. With the device, I feel like BIB is staying better as I don’t have to contend with the chair and my ligs get pull pretty hard everytime. Only thing you need for this device is 1) wood (make sure its hard wood), 2)strong metal bracket, 3)planter hanger and 4) screw. Hope what I said make sense.

Welcome aboard. Your diagram seems to be clear, at least to me. Have you tried going back to hanging BTC since you started using this jig, as you may have stretched out some skin by now :)

‘this whole time I’ve been hanging without adjusting the left top hex nut’

I am not following this part of your description. Could you tell me what you are doing?

Guys

What I’m saying is this, the top gap is smashed shut, teeth to teeth, so its not the top gap, right?

1.)What Surfer said makes sense. But, I didn’t know you could adjust the bottom gap after the hanger is already on, isn’t that kind of difficult? Anyone else adjusted the bottom gap while the hanger is already on.

What I was saying is this. ON the top bolt on the LEFT side there is a nut that rests in the hanger which is used to assist in tightening the bolt….

2.)Should the left end of the bolt always be in the hole on the hanger, flush against the hex nut or can you move it away from the nut? Or does it even matter?

All I know is I had the hanger adjusted perfectly, and for a few days I was getting great lig pull and workouts, and now it seems no matter what I do I get top much slippage leading to blood trapped in the head or if it is too tight, the vein on top gets pushed into that bolt….

Maybe I’m asking the wrong question…if i could just reduce the blood in the head that would help out oodles. I know others have talked about it before but…

3. Do you just squeeze the blood out, because I find it goes back in? Is having blood in the head THAT bad?

BTW, I know in those few days I must have gained something because that’s why all these fitting problems came about.

Another thing, BIB, 2in2002, other hangers don’t tell me you guys go through this each day before your hanging sessions? This is ridiculous…..I’ll be glad once I get it right though……

Thanks

bbs,

>What I’m saying is this, the top gap is smashed shut, teeth to teeth, so its not the top gap, right? <

The top gap does not need to be totally closed. In fact, the odds are you do not have the correct adjustments if there is no top gap. IOW, the hanger needs to be tighter, but you already have the top maxed on tightness. Therefore, you have to run the bottom hex nuts in a little.

>1.)What Surfer said makes sense. But, I didn’t know you could adjust the bottom gap after the hanger is already on, isn’t that kind of difficult? Anyone else adjusted the bottom gap while the hanger is already on.<

I do not recommend this. I was much more comfortable if the wing nuts were tightened down to begin with. If they are not solid, there is much more chance of slipping.

>What I was saying is this. ON the top bolt on the LEFT side there is a nut that rests in the hanger which is used to assist in tightening the bolt….<

That hex nut is simply to prevent any slipping. When you tighten the wing nut on the right side, the hanger will tighten every time.

>2.)Should the left end of the bolt always be in the hole on the hanger, flush against the hex nut or can you move it away from the nut? Or does it even matter?<

It does not matter

>All I know is I had the hanger adjusted perfectly, and for a few days I was getting great lig pull and workouts, and now it seems no matter what I do I get top much slippage leading to blood trapped in the head or if it is too tight, the vein on top gets pushed into that bolt….<

First, it is not odd to have to readjust the hanger from time to time. That is one of the reasons it is adjustable. Much easier than building a new hanger.

What bolt is the vein getting pushed into?

>Maybe I’m asking the wrong question…if i could just reduce the blood in the head that would help out oodles. I know others have talked about it before but… <

That could be it. I just grabbed the wrapped bundle and pushed forward. This let the blood go back toward the base. If the head fills up before you can get the hanger on, then put the hanger on first, lightly tighten, push it forward to get the blood out, and tighten the rest of the way.

>3. Do you just squeeze the blood out, because I find it goes back in? Is having blood in the head THAT bad?<

The only problem I had with too much blood was pain at higher weights. That’s it.

>BTW, I know in those few days I must have gained something because that’s why all these fitting problems came about. <

That’s what usually happens.

>Another thing, BIB, 2in2002, other hangers don’t tell me you guys go through this each day before your hanging sessions? This is ridiculous…..I’ll be glad once I get it right though……<

No, the problem is the learning curve. After you figure it out, it is easy to make small adjustments.

Why don’t you give all the information and maybe I can help you a little better. Type of hanger, wrap, amount of wrap, distance between bottom hex nuts (back and front), top gap, wrapped flaccid girth, and anything else you can think of.

BIB thanks...

You are so thorough.

First of all I want to talk about what happenend today. I started hanging, just trying to figure out the attachments and all and actually started getting some good sets. Then, bam! I had the PERFECT set. Little to no blood in head, pull is all on ligs, no skin pull, and man it was destroying my ligs! Iloved it so much I contemplating taking it off for the rest period. Then, the next set, was back to the same old “blood head” and I felt no lig pull.

1.)Now, assuming I’m doing everything right each set, is it normal to have this cyclical up and down, good and bad sets?? I mean I honestly believe if each set is not like that, what’s the point? It’s all about the “good” work not just work……..

(After one of my good sets, my ligs are super springg, bungy like and I can litteraly stretch the hell out of my unit.(

If, I’m doing something wrong, I am varying the parameters of each set giving me “off” sets.

Either way, it proves when you do it right, you do it right.

Next issue, as my unit is getting longer with the hanger on, I see my balls as a limiting factor. Until my dick is stretched well past my ass, my balls are a pain in my ass. They start to swell up, half way into a set, and I have to take the hanger off. Once I do they are fine though. It’s just fluid build up making them tender. I assume once I get to the point where everything is hanging well below my ass, and not just getting pressed in between it, this will be resolved.

Now to your questions/comments.

>The top gap does not need to be totally closed. In fact, the odds are you do not have the correct adjustments if there is no top gap. IOW, the hanger needs to be tighter, but you already have the top maxed on tightness. Therefore, you have to run the bottom hex nuts in a little.<

OK ill try this.

>I do not recommend this. I was much more comfortable if the wing nuts were tightened down to begin with. If they are not solid, there is much more chance of slipping.<

Well heed this advice.

>That hex nut is simply to prevent any slipping. When you tighten the wing nut on the right side, the hanger will tighten every time.<

Yea, but some time the bolt comes away from the hex nut.

>What bolt is the vein getting pushed into?<

The bolt is getting pushed into the vein that runs on top of my unit.

>Why don’t you give all the information and maybe I can help you a little better. Type of hanger, wrap, amount of wrap, distance between bottom hex nuts (back and front), top gap, wrapped flaccid girth, and anything else you can think of.<

OK I use a starter. I wrap with 1 layer of thin sweatshirt only. Distance between bottom hex nuts is about varies between 3/8 inch, 1/4 inch up to 1/2 inch. Top gap is usually with teeth touching up to meshing, but never fully closed. Wrapped flaccid girth 4.5 inches.
Currently using 5 lbs max BTC. Have not had to lower the weight yet, but still getting very fatigued, sore. All my sets are with same weight….anything else you need? thanks

bbs,

Ok, we can make some progress.

>Yea, but some time the bolt comes away from the hex nut.<

It is supposed to be able to if needed.

>What bolt is the vein getting pushed into?<

>The bolt is getting pushed into the vein that runs on top of my unit.<

Ok, this is not too good if it is a lot of pressure. You are not low enough in the shaft well to begin with. You need to open the hanger fully, place your shaft in the middle, and close the hanger while pushing down with a thumb on the head to assure you are low. Always get as low as possible in the hanger. When you close the hanger, the shaft may attempt to ‘ride up’. That is why you need the thumb holding it down.

That is 4.5 wrapped flaccid with only a little sweatshirt? Do you have any Theraband to put over the top of the ss?

The 3/8 to 1/2 inch on the bottom hex nuts is going to be about right. Maybe 3/8 on back and 1/2 on the front. That is if you can get low in the shaft well. It may need to be a little wider in order to get lower. If you can wrap with a little Theraband over the top of the ss, it will help hold everything in and not squish out to the bolt. It will also give a more solid septum to attach the hanger to.

First, simply try getting your shaft lower in the well. Then, if that does not help, only change one thing at a time. You are close.

I try to get low in the shaftwell but it always rides up into either the teeth or the bolt.

Yea, I got some Thera but the less wrap the better right? What do you think the Thera will do? I already ride up to high in the shaft well as it is……

So you are saying toe out a little right?

I would agree that I need to get lower so when i tighten it will push up.

ALso, forgot to tell you every time I put the weight on in one of those “bad” sets I talked about, the hanger slides forward alot. I think it has a lot to do with how blood in the head when you put the hanger on and how low you are in the shaft well like you said.

I will go try it out now….

Get back 2 me
Thanks

bbs,

>I try to get low in the shaftwell but it always rides up into either the teeth or the bolt. <

If you cannot hold it down, then you will need to have the bottom hex nuts a little further out. The pressure is supposed to be on the top of the two major chambers.

>Yea, I got some Thera but the less wrap the better right? What do you think the Thera will do? I already ride up to high in the shaft well as it is……<

A little cottom cloth, and one strip of Thera is not much wrap. The Thera is more solid. It will keep skin from getting through to the bolt and provide a more solid attachment point.

>So you are saying toe out a little right?<

Try it a little and see what you think.

>I would agree that I need to get lower so when i tighten it will push up.<

It is better not to ‘push up’ at all. You want the shaft to remain low in the well.

If set correctly, and only five pounds, the hanger should not slide hardly at all.

2in2002,

Yes, and I still don’t get as good of a pull as when I do it in slanted position - meaning jig is to my left or right. With the jig, I’m able to go up in weight - 2 1/2# was too much without the jig, but with the jig I’m able to go up to 5-7#.

As for the skin, I don’t thing I have a issue with that at all as I am uncut (my skin is very long).

As for my session, I do several low position (similar to BTC) and couple of high position - alway to my left or right.

I am not sure why I don’t get a good lig pull when I do it BTC? But, ever since I started using my jig, I am alway sore (in a good way) and seem to be making good progress (been jelquing for a while, but short time in hanging) as my unit is longer when flacid - Sorry I don’t measure, I just look.

BIB re: fatigue

ok for example, this morning, in my very first set of BTC 5 lbs. I was still pretty sore…

1.)Is this total fatigue? Howcan that be if I haven’t even had to lower the weight yet?

2.) Should I switch to Straight Out? Or take some time off? I know this question might seem trivial but I feel one must work as much as possible to see good gains.

thanks

OK. This is an educated guess, but maybe you need to stretch out some other tissues before being able to hang effectively BTC. I guess what I would do in your position is continue to hang as you are, and every couple of days try a BTC set and see what happens. Ultimately, you are going to have to hit the suspensory ligament to get decent gains, but maybe you are just in a preliminary stretching period because for some reason you have other tissues that are overtight. I would do some straight out, too- and see what happens with that :)

When I do a set or 2 BTC and am really sore, I switch to OTL for most of my sets that day. This happens about once a week, so what I have chosen to do is focus on OTL on the left side when I can’t hang effectively BTC. I will throw in a set or 2 OTL on the right and/or OTS- but I am using the divide and conquer theory and focusing on one position at a time when I cannot do BTC :)

2in2002,

I will certainly do as you recommend. One thing, when I hang BTC - I can’t seem to feel any lig-like material. It seems like only my skin is holding it (I dig in there pretty deep to get a feel - I could feel my side ligs pretty easily).

Thanks

monkeybar

AAHHHHH. Now I know why you cannot feel the ligs. If it feels like the skin is all that is there, it is because the skin is so tight that you need to stretch it out some more. Cut or uncut, the skin at the base of the penis has to be stretched out before you can get to the ligs. I would work some sets of BTC in to stretch that base skin out, then you will feel the ligs pulling :)
