desperate to start hanging

I want extra length, but after PEing for a month have grown tired of stretching, so am eager to start hanging. however, buying a Bib hanger seems a little expensive (esp. as i’d need it shipped to the uk), and i’m not particularly handy, so

1) i viewed all the different hangers, which ones have people found easiest to find material for/build?

2) i saw a thread a little while back (though can’t find it now) where someone had found in a hardware store a single item that performed the function of the clamp, thus needing only a strap attached to it (plus wrapping). anyone remeber it? or have any idea what it might be? or did i imagine it?

3) anyone have a hanger i could maybe buy off them? $100 is too much but i’d be prepared to pay maybe half that for a proper hanger (esp. from uk).

Yes, look for the thread started by CaptnHook and he gives excellent step by step details on how to make it. Don’t neglect to do proper wrapping, proper procedure and important safety guidelines (like squeezing the blood from the head as you wrap, and not hanging for over 20 minutes at a time!) and begin at a safe weight. I know you’re eagar to start, but take your time and understand hanging very well before you begin. There are threads on all the hanging basics that need to be understood for results and most importantly to avoid serious injury.

Thanks guys. i’ve been really careful with my prized jewels thus far with PEing, so i guess i’ll just try and make the hanger, the instructions seem pretty straightforward, even for someone as useless as me at making stuff.
