While I’m waiting on my Bib Starter to come in and getting weights ready, I’ve been studying posts in the Hanger’s Forum and was wondering what is the maximum amount of weight anyone is using?

25#?, 30#, or more?

Hi Dav,

Bib hung 45 lb at his peak. Most people however do not go beyond 20 -30. And starting out you should hang very low weights until you figure out what is safe for you at this stage.

People need to understand that it is not the weight, but rather the TIME, or the weight over time….the actual amount of weight that you use or need to use to see gains is of little relevance….When these people say 20-30 lbs, it took them many months or years even to get there if done properly. Most people move up in weight way too fast.

If done properly I’ve seen guys gain an inch who haven’t even hit 10 lbs. yet…..

I don’t see how people say they’ve been hanging for 2-3 months and they are already at 20+ lbs…..they’re going too much too soon…

I think Jelktoid just hit the mid-late 20’s lbs range and he’s been hanging for well over 8-9 months I think. BIB got to 45 lbs. but it took him well over a year, that comes out to less than a 3 lb increase per month!

Thanks for responding to my post. I am not in any hurry to hang too much weight, I was just curious as to what kind of weight some of the oldtime hanger’s had gotten up to.

I am not interested in causing injury to myself or others. I appreciate you’re stressing that the amount of weight is not as important as some might make it to be, but other factors like time, etc.

My personal objective is to reach 8” EBP x 6” EG and I’ve been pumping for several months now and havn’t really gotten any real noticable length gains, just a little girth gain. I decided that I’d give hanging a try in conjunction with pumping and jelqing. I had also been taking VigRx twice a day for the past 3 to 4 months and decided after my experience along with the feedback from Thunder’s Place, that taking VigRx was probably a waste of time and money. Oh well, we live and learn. I’m just thankful I’ve found this site as I really believe if PE will ever really work for me, it will be from information I’ve learned from here along with a disclipined and cautious exercise routine over time.

I HAVE gained a few benefits so far among which are.:

1. Small amount of length and girth gain.
2. Knowledge that I am NOT as small as I thought I was at 6.75” EBP x 5.125” EG.
3. Increased health to my penis from regular exercises.

Dav, Take a look at Question for Memento & other manual stretchers in the Hanger’s Forum. It has some really informative stuff on stretching and the effects depending on the amount of stress verus time. Check out Dark Trick’s reply and some of his links particularly the last two. Really good stuff. By the way, I have just started PE’ing for maybe two weeks and have been doing manual stretches only and I have already made some small gains so dont let the problems you’ve encountered with hanging cause you to stop PE altogether.
