Consistency or extra sets

Most people have their max amount of time they can afford to hang per day and they set it and stay consistent with that time frame, but we all have those extra moments when we could easily slip in an extra 20 minute set or two. The weekends can be challenging to your self-restraint, because if you want, you have hours upon hours of hang time. Consistency is important but, throwing in an extra 20 minute set every now and again isn’t going to throw off anybody’s routine. That being said, how much extra work do you believe is too much extra work?

If you keep the weight in a moderate range, it’s unlikely that some extra set can hurt that much.

Iv been thinking the same thing lately. Over the next week I’m going to experiment with extra sets, throwing on the hanger whenever I have a spare 20+ minutes of free time.

I think extra sets are good, but live a balanced life.

Try to have a routine that you can live with in the long run as long term consistency is the key.
