Considering Hanging Need Advice

I’m still reading through the basic hanging threads so these aren’t really technical questions.

Ok so I’ve been PEing for about 2.5 months. My routine includes a few things but specifically for length I’m up to about 25 minutes of manual stretching. I am finding manual stretches to be more and more difficult due to fatigue and grip problems and things of that nature. Would you guys say I’m far enough along to start hanging? I’m not sure if most people begin hanging even while manual stretches seem to be working, like they are for me.

Also about the Bib hangers, I was very excited when I found that they were in production again. The only problem is that now I don’t have any money. I really want to buy a Bib considering the rave reviews of it. I know on the site it says they will be in production at least trough August, but I’m wondering if any of you know if there is a specific date or anything that they won’t be available anymore. I should have some more money in a week or two but I’m worried if it will be too late by that time.

Finally how many here do stealth hanging? Given that I’m going to be moving into a house for college in a few days I’m going to have to do everything in secret. I know it will probably take more effort to hide hanging but is it really that much more difficult? I would really like to try out hanging because it seems length gains come easily for me so I’d like to maximize my results so that I can attack girth.

He has been threatening to end production for a long time. Maybe this is really the last run. I don’t know. Ask him.

I can’t help on the stealth thing. If you can lock yourself into a room for a couple hours a day under whatever excuse, you can hang.

A further note on the stealth aspect: No way in hell would I have at the time, but I’ve become comfortable enough with PE and myself that if I were to take my present mindset back to college I’d probably introduce my room mates to PE. Might give it some thought. You wouldn’t have to sneak around as much if they are doing it too. I suppose it depends on your roomies’ personalities, which only you can judge.

I’m no expert…(we’ve heard this before:) ).

I’ve thought about hanging for a while, but for me the thought of almost cutting off circulation to that area for minutes at a time as kept me far from it. Regular old stretches is what does it for me :) . Just food for thought. I heard baby powder and even those rubber dish gloves can remedy your grip problem.

For myself 25 mins of manual stretching( I wrap it around my thumbs using an “OK” grip and pulling down) gives a great stretch, but hey, were all different. Also what’s your jelq routine like ??? I find that 45mins of wet jelqing at around 30%-40% really gives me a good stretch, and fills girth as well. Couple of warm-ups before and after and your “Golden”.

LOL! That really made me laugh because my roommates already think I’m crazy and I just imagined their expressions and comments if I started talking about hanging weights from my dick.

Yea I pretty much have the rest of my routine covered, you can check it out in the routines thread and give me any comments. I’m looking into hanging mainly for its hands-free benefits and fatigue. Plus I think hanging might push me even further than I could do with my hands.

Cutting off circulation is a bit of an over-statement. With a properly fitting hanger, circulation is only limited. I thought hanging weights off my dick initially was not something I would do but quickly realized the benefits.

Is it?? Does hanging weights for extended period of time, at a moderate weight, along your penis not constitute a strangulation effect(If you will). I originally wrote “minutes at a time”. This is what concerns me most. Hanging seems logical, but for me, only in 30 second repetitions. The majority of the weight does end up on the glan, does it not??What’s properly fitting ?? No pain??.Maybe I’m being just a bit paranoid, although this is the only penis I have. Just my 2 cents, I’m sure hanging has benefited many. The only benefit that strikes me is that it free’s up my hands. Hey “whatever floats your boat” right ?? Guess you can’t have the good without the bad.

WeSt - I think I’d go with reducing circulation. Cutting off just sounds so extreme. ;) The glans is supplied with blood by the bottom chamber or Corpus Spongiosum Here is a cross-section graphic of the penis. You can see that if the bottom chamber is not pinched too tightly by the hanger, blood is not completely cut off and can still get to the glans. That’s why hangers are designed to put pressure on the side chambers or Corpora Cavernosa.

I agree, but it’s greatly reduced. My dick turns dark purple by the end of a 10 minute Extreme Uli set. EU’s definitely cut off all circulation. On the other hand, I only get mild darkening and slight coolness of the glans when hanging for 15-20 minutes, so some blood must be flowing.

Twisted fulcrum hanging and similar methods reduce blood flow even more. Those sets should be kept to 10 minutes or so, certainly not more than 15.

The head shouldn’t be supporting the weight. Properly fitting means using a hanger capable of grasping the internal structures that is adjusted correctly and tightened enough so the head doesn’t take much of the load.

Hyyper, wusup man, I’m just here to let you know that if you are serious about gaining length on your penis, hanging is the way to go. I’ve PEed for years and at first I gained 1.5” through manual stretches and jelqing but then the results stopped coming after the 1.5” and i had to start hanging again. Go for it, a wench is all you need to start out, before I knew much about hanging I successfully hung 25 freakin pounds with a wench comfortably so it’ll be fine for you to be hanging 5-7 1/2 pounds off starting off.

Maybe your skin was taking a great deal of the weight?

He may or may not quickly work up to 5-7 pounds, but I think a newbie hanger is better off starting at 3 lbs. or so.

I haven’t been around nearly as long as some of the other guys, so take this with a grain of salt. I agree with Hobby on starting off at lower weight. I started hanging at the beginning of this month with 2-3 pounds. I just hit 8 pounds last night for one 20-minute set. (I did 5 or 7 for my other 3 sets.) I can see myself getting up to 20# or more someday, but not too quickly. Just listen to your body. I’m sure everybody is different.

I’m using a wench, too, and it works well.

I have a 50 pound anvil in the shop that Mrs RBM has dared me to try. #:-o

I also use the famous Captn’s Wench, I started a week and a half ago at 2.5lbs and now do 3.5lbs.
I was very supprized but 3.5lbs is alot for me over a 20 minute time period. And I used to do hardcore manual stretches where I was
probably putting 30-40lbs of pressure on my unit.

Start low, and build up slowly. Milk every weight amount for the gains it’ll give you.
