I looked at a few posts but couldn’t get anything definite (and I am surprised I’ve never read it as part of any hanging FAQ):
Question: if someone says they are hanging for an hour, is that 60 minutes of hang time (in whatever increments), excluding whatever rest time they use?
Usually means hangtime - but not always! There is no definitive and it varies from person to person. If I say that I’ve hung for 1 hour this means that I’ve had weights hanging off my dick for 60 mins but, with breaks, it may have taken me 1.5 hours. I agree, it would be good to standardize this for all so there is no confusion.

Hang time means actual time weight is hanging. If you do 10 on 10 off for two hours, you have one hour of hang time.
