Circulation problems

I’ve researched this a lot and it seems no matter what I do my circulation is being cut off. I’ve read everything I could find on this and it’s just not helping. I was wondering if anyone had any advice which may have helped them? I have a bib hanger.

I have a similar problem due to the tightness needed to hold the weight on (I use 10lbs.) and due to the fact that my shaft is slightly larger than the head. I use a bib hanger and a light weight all day hanger. If I put either device on when blood has been squeezed out of the head, the head gets cold during hanging no matter how I wrap. If I leave the blood in there it balloons up some under the weight but does not get cold. With the bib hanger I am only hanging for 15 minutes at a time so I don’t care much either way as long as there is no numbness. With the all day weights I try to check at frequent intervals to see if I need to remove and re-fix to improve circulation. I occasionally have to re-attach the bib during hanging but that is only a quick 30 second interruption for comfort or circulation so I don’t think that hinders my PE progress. I will watch this thread to see if any pros have some tips or explanations that can help us both.

I’m not a pro but I have some suggestions.

Your wrap could be too tight or your bottom gap is not large enough. Are the teeth fully meshed? If you have to clamp it too tight you may not have sufficient blood in the shaft for the hanger to form shoulders on. Are you placing the hanger on slightly back and pulling it forwards while tightening? Or, what you experience could just simply be normal. My glans becomes off color and cool. I don’t experience numbness though. Have you been to Bib’s forum?

Yes I’ve been to bibs forum. No the teeth are not FULLY meshed, but are touching. Yes I do place the hanger slightly back and pull it forward while tightening. My wrap is good enough for me to still be able to piss with it on. My head becomes discolored and cool also. I’m not sure if it is normal, but everything I read talks about how to be aware of lack of circulation and discoloration so it concerns me. There isn’t any numbness so maybe it is normal. No problem. Myself, I’m in a constant state of fiddling with my hanger. I do believe that the teeth should be meshed beyond just touching though, opening the bottom gap will allow for more circulation to the glans. Mine are almost fully meshed. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice on the bottom being more open in order to allow better circulation. I’ve done that, but I didn’t pay as much attention to that as I should. I feel like if I put the hanger tighter and the teeth do mesh more, it creates to much pressure on my shaft.

jb560 - how long have you been hanging?

From what I read, the glans always gets cold at least during the first few weeks while the penile tissues develop circulation. Even with perfect wrapping and hanger settings, I saw people on Bib’s forum still getting a cold glans early on. I also saw those same people never having the problem again once their tissues adjusted.

I’ve been hanging only for about a week or two now. Where did you see about the head getting cold for the first few weeks? I’d like to read up on it.

Also, about the Glans getting cold—I forgot exactly which threads I read that talked about it; there’s quite a few threads over there. I can say it’s all over the place on Bibs forum, seems to happen to many people. I’ll give you one example:

If you want to be informed about hanging, I suggest you read some of the threads over there if you’ve exhausted research possibilities here on thunders. I found it very enlightening about hanging in general.

I purchased a Bib hanger and asked Bib several related questions—I found him to be quite polite.

I do almost feel bad though, because I quickly found out that most of the questions I asked were already answered on his threads. He’s really a practical guy—focused on what a hanger needs to do to get real results.

Anyway, you can always follow the advice he gave on the thread that I linked. If your glans is getting too cold you can cut the sets short to 15-17 minutes instead of the full 20 minutes. Unless you go over 20 minutes, there should be no risk of tissue death. Just make sure to get back your full circulation before you start your next set.

As long as your wrap is done correctly and you have good hanger settings the issue should go away after a few weeks. Your body just needs time to adapt and build up the vascular structures so that the penile tissues will still get oxygen even while you’re hanging. If the cold glans persists—it may be an indicator something is wrong.

I’m not sure how long it takes for the tissues to adapt—I suppose it could vary person to person. Perhaps someone with direct experience can reply on this.

I never thought that my dick was adapting to hanging by building a stronger vascular system. It makes sense though. My erections are super strong and I have no circulation problems to my glans like I did when I first started with my Bib. I just chalked it up to getting my settings right, but it probably has more to do with adaptation.

No, I have never read about them.

I wouldn’t want the distraction if dealing with matters requiring serious concentration.

I never had any erectile problems from hanging.

Same as all PE methods, results from hanging vary. Some gain relatively easily, yet others get little or nothing even after months or years.

Blink2000 mentioned skin conditioning. A certain amount of skin slack is required for the weight to be supported by the “internals” (mostly the engorged ends of the CC’s) instead of shaft skin. Circumcised guys often need to spend some time deliberately stretching skin.
