I was hanging 9-12lbs with a vacuum hanger, straight out (SO), and I had my glans wrapped in tape. There was slight pain, but I thought it was fatigue, and then I decided to end at the 3rd set. I removed the vacuum cup, and I noticed there was some blood in there. Not sure how much, maybe 1-2ml, it could be less, but I was freaked out anyways.

I remember I did become erect while hanging because maybe I had some sexual thought, I don’t remember. I need to know what happened, where did the blood came from or why. There is no visible damage on the glans, so I assume it came out through the urethra.

I know something must have ruptured inside my penis but I don’t know what, so I stopped hanging and it’s been a week so far. I noticed my erections aren’t that hard anymore, it takes time to get erections, and I stopped getting night time erections since that day. I did get night erection once/twice but it wasn’t that hard. I’m hardly getting horny, so it somehow effected my libido I think, but I have masturbated couple of times, just so I could check if my dick is working ok. I did get hard, and I did cum, but my erection is not that hard and I don’t feel pain.

I’m getting worried, will my dick get healed? What happened, where did the blood came from? What ruptured? How long will it take to heal? When should I start hanging? Will light hanging (2-3lbs) help heal my penis quicker? What can I do to get healed quickly?

Do not panic. Your body has an incredible capacity to heal. I doubt you did anything serious.

That vacuum probably caused a small tear in your urethra. Naturally blood would appear. Because there was vacuum, your blood pressure would push blood into that very easily.

I think that your libido is negatively affected because you are worried about permanent damage. I had a similar thing with a prolonged numbness episode.

If you cannot determine what went wrong with how you taped etc, I think that you should re-evaluate your use of the vac device.

I do not trust hanging more than 10 lbs with my vachanger and I would not hang any weight with it for more than 1 hour without taking it apart and checking. Maybe the constriction sleeve is what needs to be used.

You’ll be ok. Chalk it up to experience.

Since it has been a week, I would try it and just check often. Get the constriction sleeve or don’t go over 10.

Thanks man… I think I know what the problem is. I don’t think I’ve damaged my penis.

I think the reason why my erections is not hard anymore is because I have stopped hanging. When the blood came out, I stopped hanging at the same time, and I assumed my erections are not hard because I injured myself. When I used to hang everyday, my erections was really hard, I had morning woods, high libido, and I produced more semen. Since I have stopped hanging, my erections are weak, libido has dropped, no morning wood, and I produce less semen.

Does that mean I have to hang for life if I want high EQ and libido? In other words, hanging is like VIAGRA? Without hanging, my erections are weak. This is sad that I have to rely on hanging to have good erections. Why???

I don’t think so. Viagra is a drug that has to do with your vascular system. Viagra works like this:

  1. Increases the amount of nitric oxide produced in the penis
  2. Increases the amount of cGMP produced in the penis in response to the nitric oxide
  3. Eliminates the PDE in the penis so that the cGMP builds up instead of getting decomposed by the (the *key*) PDE5 enzyme (which is specific to your cock area)
  4. Basically, fucking genius!

So basically, it “the greater the amount of cGMP, the greater the blood flow, and the greater the blood flow, the greater the degree of the erection (source).

Hanging, unless it blocks the arteries, or loosens/opens up the veins, can’t have the same ‘viagra-like dependency’ effects you are describing in your post.

Also, since EQ is so dependent on your vascular system, your age and other factors which could affect blood flow (basically everything, lol) have to be considered heavily.

Also, it not just hanging, I’m hanging with a VACUUM CUP. Vacuum creates suctions, so maybe brings greater bloody flow to penis?
Or, maybe hanging alone brings greater blood flow to the penis, because hanging causes “damage”, so the blood is there to heal.

I don’t know why, but I’m just saying what I’m experiencing. With vacuum cup hanging, I experience a very high EQ, very high libido, very strong morning woods, and increased amount of semen. Without vacuum cup hanging, my penis lacks these things.

I don’t know if you have time m21648, you could busy a guy for all i know, but if you get a chance, read the whole How Stuff Works article on Viagra. It explains a lot about how the whole (excuse me for generalizing) “blood to penis” thing works, specifically erection wise.

I’m not downplaying you, but I think you are misunderstanding how the human body targets blood flow a little. Heat (in a variety of different way that I won’t go into) is how the body directs blood for healing purposes. Damage to the tissue creates heat as surrounding cells try to repair it, thus telling the brain to send more blood (which has nutrients for the multiplying cells). If you are interested in how cells create heat, you can read about mitochondria undergoing a “proton leak” rather than producing ATP by a process know as a brown reaction.
This is the theory behind “heating before any PE”, which I know you are already familiar with.

So, all I’m trying to say is that only affecting the PDE5 enzyme (which in turn increases the NO [nitric oxide]) or heat can really effect the blood flow to the penis. This is excluding mechanical exterior barriers, or stuff used to forcefully suck blood out(i.e. cock rings, pumps). This is why people take L-Argenine (increases NO in body, kinda like Viagra, but weaker and working in the opposite enzyme path direction) before they go to bed to have more blood flow to the penis during sleep or after a workout.

All I really want to get across here is that no ‘molecular,’ or better put, ‘internal chemical’ dependency is being causes by vaccum cup hanging. I least that’s what I am ascertaining.

I’m not a doctor (yet, lol) so I really can’t give you a prognosis on the affect of vaccum cup hanging on EQ, I doubt anyone here can tell you for sure, unless they really know their physiology, especially penis wise.

Marinera observed something like short intense hanging gives higher EQ while longer less intense hanging gives lower EQ.

Okay… finally someone knows about my problem!

Alin I have stopped hanging for over a week now, but my current hanging weight is 14lbs for 2 hours daily (20mins on, 10mins off), and I reduced weight when I reached fatigue in first/second set. Now that I have stopped hanging cold turkey, will my EQ remain low?

I have to stop hanging now anyway because I need to get circumcised, so I guess I won’t be hanging for atleast 3 months. After 3 months my circumcision scar should be healed and I want to start hanging again, but this time it will be with the bib hanger or captain wrench (vacuum hanging bloody freak lol). What hanging weight do I start with? Do I have to start ALL OVER AGAIN?

m21, I also use a vac hanger, but with lower weight 6-7 lbs(now) for 4 hours straight.

Yes, I think you should start all over again , but maybe you can increase weight more rapidly than the first time.

Alin, yes I feel fatigue after every hanging session. I always feel the need to reduce the weights during my hanging session (well that’s what I try to aim for, sometimes I just stick to the same weight all through the session and I feel fatigue in the last set).

As I stopped hanging cold turkey, do you think I will lose my gains? It’s a shame if I do because I been hanging for months and I increased the weights really slowly.

There are two reasons why I wanna get circumcised;
1) My foreskin is too long. When I’m erect, I still have too much loose skin… e.g. baggy jeans vs straight-fit jeans lol… so I NEED a circumcision.
2) I want to hang with a bibhanger but I can’t as I got too much foreskin. The bibhanger would just roll of my penis.

Here’s the problem. I think I can only hang with a vacuum cup right now. The vacuum cup is slowly discolouring the tip of my glan, making it darker, ugly and wrinkly. It’s not that bad yet but I think it could get worse as I hang heaver and heavier and causes too much pressure on the glan. And now the blood came out of my penis, I don’t want to risk it anymore. Hanging low weights is okay I think, but hanging heavy weights causes TOO much pressure, and risk injury. I’m at 14lbs and I really need a bib hanger now, but I cant use it because it will roll off as I got long foreskin.

Now if I get circumcision, I would be able to use the bibhanger, but I have to start all over again! I will lose all my gains right! After I get circumcision, I will use the bibhanger, but it will stretch my skin, so it will make it longer again. I don’t want skin too grow, I want my skin to be tight.

I wanted to reach my ideal size, FINISH with hanging for good, and then get circumcised. So what should I do, should I get circumcision now or later?

I have long foreskin(goes over my head when I’m erected) and I have no problems with Bib. Most weight I have tried for 20mins is 20lbs. It can be done, you don’t just roll skin back over you glans. If you do that, your hanger will slowly roll on the head because: 1. the pulled skin is too sensitive to tighten enough, 2. I guess skin is “fixed” to internals, it wants to roll if you pull too much back.

mister007, I couldn’t get it to work with my homemade hanger. How do you actually wrap theraband around your penis? Do you pull all your foreskin to the pubic bone first?

You said foreskin would want to roll if you pull too much back. What’s the simplest way to make bibhanger work for me? It’s not reliable. It seems like a pain in the a*SS!

I’m bad at writing things in English but I’ll try.

If you have watched stillwantmore hanging video, that’s how I wrap. I only use theraband and wrap it all in the same place. I don’t spiral. This does not work for all but I don’t get any benefits from spiraling so this is easier for me.

You have to pull SOME skin back before you wrap but not ALL. For me, when I stretch my penis and I’m ready to wrap, my skin is about half way down to the head. Then I wrap about 1-1.25” from the head. After each layer of wrap, I smooth the skin towards the base so no wrinkles under the wrap.

When I’m wrapped, I stop stretching with my hand. Now the wrap goes over the glans but dont worry. Then I take the hanger, open it fully and insert my penis in. This is hard for me to explain but I’ll try:

When you put the hanger on, you push the wrap and the hanger little towards the body so now we have that 1”+ between the hanger and the head and the foreskin is now covering half of the head.

Now I put both of thumbs, one in front and one in back of the hanger, push it down and start tightening. You don’t want to tighten too much now but not too little either so it takes some testing to get this right. When I feel the hanger is grabbing my penis, I let my thumbs go.

NOW, you pull the hanger a little forward and the skin rolls over the glans little more. Then I tighten and pulse push the hanger a little at the time. You should feel the hanger is stopping now about 0.5” from the glans. Keep tightening and pulse pushing. You can wait for a minute and tighten some more, now the hanger should be locked comfortable and your foreskin should be covering your head like it will naturally. You also should have enough skin behind the hanger so you do not get any skin stretch. If your skin is tight you might get some skin stretch.

Apply the weight and tighten every 1-2 mins. This is for the first set. After first set your penis will get little thinner and more flexible and it should be much easier to repeat the process.
