If they are the same lenght, a heavy hanger should be lenghty.
Do you think bib should make a bib hardcore original?
I just also want to know, why the top bolt of hanger is only one, why at the bottom two?
Do you think two top screw or bolt(I don’t know what does it call) will make a diff?
Which one is the best buy for heavy hanging as of now(25lbs up), hardcore or snake hanger?
Thanks
Glad to help where I can. I know very little of the Snake Hanger, except that it can supposedly handle a lot of weight.
The original Bib is padded and the area for your shaft is roughly 3 inches. If I understand you correctly, you are asking if Bib should or would make an unpadded original, right? I have spoken to him and he has no intentions of doing this. I wish he would, but he hasn’t yet and probably won’t.
The top has only one bolt because that is what locks it in place. The two bottom bolts generally stay put once you have configured it to fit your needs. Adjusting the bottom bolts will make the hanger (from a bottom view) either look like / \ or | | or \ /. Most everyone has theirs like \ / or | |. Otherwise, it gets very hard to lock in the top bolt. There would be no need for a second top bolt.
If you want to save money, you can make the SH or get charged a LOT from King Snake to make you one. It really is a shame Ben stopped making MH1. Also - if you have no experience hanging, Bib does not recommend starting with the hardcore. I say you’re fine, but you will need a lot of extra wrap. Hope this helps.
Serious starting point: Nov. 2, 2009/BPEL 5.75 x 4.75 inches.
Current BPEL 7 1/2 x 5.5 inches.
Goal: BPEL 8 x 6 inches. Hell, if I hit 8, I'm going for 9!
