Bib Vs. Redi-stretcher

Guys I know your all thinking “Search button, search button, search button” But please save that reply, I looked through everything that came up.

I have to choose a hanger, and after getting terrible blisters from the vac hanger, I am trying to avoid injuries.

My main questions is has anyone used BOTH? I have a few problems and up/downs with both products, the Redi looks like it pinches your shaft together, and the Bib looks like it’s a pain to wrap right, get it to fit correctly etc.

I did however find out a great and easy way to wrap, which I found by looking at RandomGiant’s Log, Pretty clever dude!

If anyone has any feedback and your not actually connected with his business, please enlighten me it would be greatly appreciated!

I have both- until you hang above 15# the Redi is the way to go— ease of application is brilliant. The Bib is very well made and will handle heavy loads — but between toe in, toe out and wrapping, it can add enough drag to the process to be discouraging.

Which Redi? The small one- tps was kind enough to proved me a large when I had a minor issue with the small and I quickly learned that the small is the way to go- the large doesn’t get quite the same ‘bite’ on the meatus and may ‘slip’ down under tension.

If and when you are ready for a Bib- get the Bib starter- again- I have both sizes and the starter permits a much better placement.

Hope that helps.

As far as I know you always need to wrap no matter what kind of non vacuum hanger you use. I have a redi stretcher and a BibHanger and don’t think you can compare them. The redi stretcher is junk compare to bib.

Actually I use a small piece of neoprene mouse pad as a ‘hot dog bun’ style quick wrap with the Redi- the Bib requires the full monty.

Junk? Little strong. I use the Redi as my primary these days- I’m not back at the 12Kg level that requires the Bib- and the Redi works just fine.

Does either of them actually work with uncut guys like me?

Start: 6.7" BPEL 4.7" MSEG

Now: 7.3" BPEL 5.0" MSEG

Goal: 8.0" BPEL 5.5" MSEG

They can work, but it’s a lot harder. I remember reading that some uncut guys would hang without retracting their foreskins. There’s some info about uncut hanging somewhere around here.

Thank you for the link, RandomGiant.

But what about how it actually grips? I want something that will pull on those ligs and the tunica.

?

It clamps down and grips- I don’t get the question.

With either one you have to learn shaft skin management- and that’s a wrap issue. The neoprene mouse pad solution can be tricky the first few times, but it’s a much quicker, shallower learning curve.

The mouse pad doesn’t really work for the Bib- no lace for the excess to go.

I reiterate my initial statement- under 12Kg- Redi, over 12Kg- Bib starter.

Well then It’s a pretty easy choice I suppose, Because I am already up to 10 lbs using the vac, and I can barely feel 10 due to my thickness. However I hate it, the blisters put me out of commission for a week.

Correction- 8kg— not 12.

My question about it’s grip was meaning it looks like it pinches areas of the shaft and felt that way when I tried mine on as well. However I need to use a wrap I understand that now.

To stay on subject,

which hanger (Redi or Bib) is better for fulcrum hanging? I’ve read about hanging, and fulcrum hanging appears to be most beneficial. With a proper fulcrum, which hanger operates best? I am curious because the Bib looks better for fulcrum hanging but the Redi looks like a better hanger.

Yeah- I’ve held a 4 pk at Home Depot in my hand marked at $12.
So?
You’re not so much buying the clamp as you are the heads that tps has painfully created from nothing as well as the work required to retrofit them onto the clamp.
I invite you to craft PE gear that seems obvious from nothing and make it viable- far easier said than done.

I invented TIVO- in my head.

This shit is handmade, champ- don’t discount that.

Fulcrum— BABY Bib- aka Bib Starter.

Regular Bib [have one of those too] is large enough that fulcrum hanging is awkward and unlikely.
Redi doesn’t work for for me doing fulcrum- slippage.
