Thanks - $30 seems pretty damn reasonable to me…
Currently the tear isn’t hindering anything - but like I say I might get it sorted next time I’m on an extended break.

Yep. You see how the gel is tearing on the front edges of the thumbs and fingers? That means the gel is attempting to pull through the hanger as you apply the stress. That means you do not have it quite tight enough. You don’t have to get it extremely tight, but do watch for the gel moving too much backward.
