Bib hanger

I had similar issue with mine. I have the hardcore starter and thought I outgrew it. Come to find out, all I needed to do was adjust the hex nuts on the bottom. Bib even told me not to buy an original and to just play around with the settings on my HC. The man saved me $130.

I love mine but there is a definite learning curve. Bib has the patience of a saint and has probably answered the same questions hundreds of times. Regretfully you all ready made a major modification to your hanger. For anybody else the best thing to do is read the product guide on his site. Then just ask him before you rip the hanger apart.

Or make your own and save a hundred and 50 bucks.

If you can make your own that is comfortable and works, then of course you don’t need to purchase a Bib hanger, and it’s best to do all you can to preserve your resources, ideally.
The original bib hanger was an amazing product for me and my situation, and I am happy with the product since Bib was there to help me out and my penis stretched out causing my size insecurities to be lessened greatly.

At first I had trouble with it, but it was because I was not used to it and needed to learn all of the settings on the hanger and with wrap, and also it was stretching me more intensely than I had been used to, so that took time to adjust to. It’s definitely important to actually read the product guide. Since you hastily destroyed the soft padding on your product, you no longer have the intended design, and if you want to tell people that the hanger sucks, you must mention that you altered it, since the soft padding makes a difference. In time you may have come to like the Bib better than your other hangers, but I am afraid it’s too late since you altered it. :(
You could attempt to sell your bib hanger, someone may be interested in a hardcore bib hanger that is the size of the original bib, bib doesn’t offer the hardcore non-padded in original size for some reason.

6” girth is huge, is that natural or did you get there with PE? Also what is your length currently?
I also suffer from chronic prostate pain which can really ruin my mood and day when it flares up, and I thought I noticed hanging definitely helped with that pain to where it didn’t flare up. So it is interesting that you mention that.

<If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are headed>

For a nominal cost, he can send it back to Bib and he’ll re-pad it.

Pukers did you unscrew the bottom hex nuts outwards? That is usually the best way to allow for more girth. I don’t have your girth but I did experiment with a huge wrap in the past. It had to be well beyond 6” girth with the wrapping. The only way it fits is with the bottom hex nuts moved way out.

The top bolt can get in the way once tightened down, the height of the hanger could be made taller which would move the top bolt out of the way to accommodate larger girth.

With the starter you really have to get your penis low into it. Avoiding the hinge low. I have never used the regular one but it is designed for larger girth. I believe the original poster had a regular one and not the starter but my guess is that he didn’t adjust the bottom hex nuts to increase bottom gap.

I’m having a similar problem with the Bib Starter right now, and my girth is a bit more than his at the base.. But mid shaft its more manageable for now.

Right now I’m adjusting the hex nuts and trying to figure out how much padding I can include in the wrap while still fitting my dick.

As of right now, my homemade Bib was more comfortable, ( I did a hell of a job with that thing), but this is also my second day with it, I imagine theres a learning curve!

Plus I like the quality of the bib.. The slot for the bolt and wing nut is a book crooked on top which can make it a bit tough to close even without your dick in it.. Other than that though its a cool design.

I’m contemplating buying a longer bolt from the hardware store today, for the top.. May make it a bit easier for me to close.

Yeah getting those initial dimensions of wrap and bottom gap is the most difficult part in my opinion. Once you get in the ballpark you just want to make minor tweaks from there. The more you use it the better you will get.

Just remember to get your penis about as far as you can down into the well without pinching it. Try to make your adjustments from that perspective. You don’t want the top bolt pushing the wrap and placing pressure on the top of your shaft.

Top bolt pressing on the shaft isn’t an issue for me, however its length is a bit short.

I’m using a short piece of sock for the initial wrap and a self-adhering ace wrap over it.. About 3” by 9”.. I’d like to use a bit more padding but the device won’t allow.

Finding a happy medium.

Yeah Bib won’t be happy with your padding at all. He hates Ace bandage and I can imagine his comment on the sock. Sorry but I’m laughing as I think about it. Truly no offense intended.

With that padding you are probably gonna have a hard time grabbing the internals and I imagine it would make it very difficult to squeeze in there.

Length should never really be an issue. Unless your length is shorter than the hanger but I can see from your stats it isn’t.

Are you using the starter or the original?

How tight is really tight on the bib hanger

Well I just got my hanger and I am having just some minor issues to begin with how tight its really tight: when I’m strapped in the hanger I feel a dull pain and my glads numb & cold in about 10 min, also do I really have to ( / \ ) ( \ / ) ( | | ) the hanger and how do you know or feel if the hanger is gripping the internals. I’m wrapping with a 3x8 light sweatshirt and 2x15 theraband.

Hey I have the Bib Starter and was eventually able to figure out how to use it in a way that works for me.

The piece of cloth (sock) with Ace bandage on top seems to be doing the trick for me wrap wise.. I may go out and buy some theraband if I can find it to put over it.

My homemade Bib worked great too.

Top Bolt Stripping

I keep stripping the top bolt out.The bolt diameters used on the Bib Starter seem to be too small to hold the force that is created with higher weights.

I’ve used the recommended Vaseline on them to keep them lubed.

Larger diameter bolts with deeper & stronger threads would prevent the frequent stripping of the top bolt. The bottom bolts hold up since there is two of them to spread out the force from heavy weight ” 14 Pounds”
