Bib hanger settings

Just got a starter awhile ago and I had a quick question concerning adjustment. When I recieved the hanger the two nuts on the back were tightened down all the way. My question is, should I loosen them both out when I hang. I know all about toe in and toe out but thats not what im talking about. I mean loosening them both equally out and then adjust from there. So its more of a clamp on the sides of the penis as opposed to a V shape where the top closes down.

No, I do not understand. Let’s get the names of the parts coordinated first. On the right side, you have two wings nuts on the bottom, on the skids. One wing nut on top that tightens the hanger down. If you loosen both wing nuts all the way out to the beads, pull out the right side, you will find two sets of hex nuts next to the hinge. The outer set of hex nuts are the adjustment nuts, which you move to adjust for size or toe angle.

The wing nuts should always be tightened down when hanging. Solid. Now, please rephase your question.

I am referring to the two wingnuts on the skid. When I hang should those wingnuts be tightened down all the way, and then if I so desire I can loosen the top one or the bottom one depending on my peference? Or should I loosen both of the hex nuts off a bit and then when the hanger is applied adjust them.

Those wing nuts must be snugged down. The left and right halves must be solid in relation to each other. If the wing nuts are loose, the sides are able to move, and the penis can ‘flow’ through the hanger.

It is a simple trial and error process finding the correct setting of the hex nuts to give you the same ‘fit’ as with loosening the wing nuts. It just takes a little time. You will find the hang much more comfortable with the hex nuts in the correct position, and the wing nuts tight.

You cannot adjust the hex nuts, at least easily, with the hanger on.

Ahh, thank you, think i get it, so its fine to adjust the hex nuts that you have below the skid and then snug the hex nuts down. I had it wrong, i though the toe in and out was an adjustment of the wingnuts, not the hexnuts. Makes more sense.

Better to say:

so its fine to adjust the hex nuts that you have INSIDE the RIGHT skid and then snug the WING nuts down. I had it wrong, i though the toe in and out was an adjustment of the wingnuts, not the hexnuts. Makes more sense.

My definition of toe in and toe out were all messed up, that was my problem. Lack of studying on my part. Makes me feel dumb, I keep the stock setting of the bib when it first came and have been hanging like that. Was wondering why I was gettig some pinching on the top :)
