Another quick note for updates.

4 weeks and a logged <20 hours of BTC has released 1.0cm EL (another 2mm since last measure a couple of days ago).

Just saw a golfer in the Masters, striking a hole in one… The feeling I get from all these gains in what seems like one hit, I can relate to the look of that golfing man’s facial expression; this is touching unreal!

All the thanks are going your way, Bigger. Whatever I can say to make it worhwile for you, I hope I say it sometime!

What happened to your hanger — again?

Today he sent out a Starter to me; the next day after receiving my payment.

I was tightening it, the teeth weren’t even touching yet, and it snapped,
while I was in it

The molded parts collapsed just like that? I’ve never been expecting that happening to my Standard Bib.

Yeah, the thickest part snapped in half. Scared the hell out of me.
I was tighening the screw when it happened. There was no weight or tension involved.

I’m in kind of in a lazy mood, but I’ll get my cam out if you insist.

You said “again.” Where did the other(s) break?

I broke several Starters all in roughly the same place. The first lasted quite a while, then I went through a few replacements fairly quickly. I don’t have a camera, but here are drawings of the right side with the red lines showing where my original snapped apart and where the replacements first began to fail.

This was before Bigger made some alterations to the Starter. I haven’t broken the improved model yet.
