Anyone using vacu-hanger get blisters

Hi, I’ve decided to give the vacu-hanger a go, as most other hangers are just strectching the skin with me. I’ve tried using a vac-extender and have had 3 blisters on the glans up till now, the last one over a month ago is still leaving a mark.

Has anyone who has had blisters with extender used a vacu-hanger? I was wondering if there’s less chance of blisters with the hanger, and also what the most weight and time it’s been used for.

I would also appreciate knowing if anyone has made significant gains from it, please.

Yes, I developed several water blisters using a vacuum hanger. It about killed my PE career.

It happened when I was hanger for 1 or more hour(s) at a time. I now only hang for 20 to 30 minutes at a time and only up to 10 pounds with the vacuum hanger.

I use a Bib Hardcore Hanger for heavy hanging. The areas where the blisters healed still turn deep purple when I hang with the Bib or with the vacuum hanger. But, when I take breaks for 2 weeks or so, the spots clear up and I can not even tell where the blisters formed on the glans.

Thanks for reply but can you tell me if you’ve had much success with the vacu-hanger or bib, which one do you think is best?

Most hangers I use seem to just pull the skin which is why I was hoping vacu-hanger would be better.

Any advice?

Yes.

My first bit of advice is that you use spell check and proof your posts for punctuation and paragraphs. Use question marks when you ask a question - that sort of thing. It’s part of our forum guidelines.

The danger with the Vacu-hanger/Auto-Extender is that it’s a bit too comfortable. You can easily give yourself blisters if you don’t monitor yourself. This is not the device’s fault; it’s your responsibility to exercise proper caution.

I think you should tell us a bit about your history with PE, basil1492. How long have you been at it? What have your routines been (warm-up, jelqs, stretches, Kegels, hanging weight, sets, time, etc.)? If you break it down specifically we can help you more precisely.

It sounds, from what you’ve shared so far, that you have been using too much weight and force.

Tell us what your routine is and we’ll be able to give you specific feedback and help you to optimze your routine.

Sorry I took so long getting back to you, been a bit busy.

I’ve been doing PE for about 3 years on and off. Usually do 5 minutes of warmup using a glass of warm water and gradually increasing to hot water every minute or so. I was doing 20 minutes of jelq then 20 minutes manual stretch using I copied from Braindrains thread which worked quite well for a month, gained about .75 inch in length which is all I’m aiming for at the moment.

Gains stopped and, even though I’ve changed routines a few times, I can’t seem to gain any more. I’ve built my own captains wench and choker, each seems to just stretch the skin. The vacextender I bought from monkeybar works well but blisters are a problem. I may be using too much stretch, usually do 1 hour then rest for 20 minutes for 3 hours stretching.

I am currently 7.25” BPEL length and 6 inch girth from 6.5 length and 6 girth. Was up to 7.5 length at one time but lost .25 when deconditioned for 1 month. Using 10lbs now on choker but never used vacextender as hanger because of blisters, just as an extender.

First of all, I would recommend that you revisit the Newbie Routine for about two months, while you fully recover from your blisters. They can clear up in a week or two, but the potential to get them again is still there. You need to give them a good long time to heal, even after you can’t see them.

I would also ask you to reconsider warming up with a glass of water. Either a microwaveable heating pad, an Infra Red lamp or a homemade rice sock will be better and provide you better heat throughout your work out. Use something that will give you good continuous consistent heat at a set level.

With regard to the Vac-Extender, if you are getting blisters it means you have too much tension for too long a time. I have the Vac-Extender and the first time I used it I got blisters too. I was using it as a hanger, put on 7.5 lbs and worked on my computer for an hour and half. It only took one time to learn that was not the right way to go about it.

What I do now is use the constriction sleeve, hang for 20 minutes, take it off, wake it up, keep it warm for 10 minutes and then repeat this procedure two more times. Then I use the Extender with light tension; just enough to stretch it out and keep it in an extended state, for an hour or so before taking it off and going to sleep. I use a heat pad throughout.

The constriction sleeve should be put on in such a way as to force all the air bubbles out.

I also use this as an ADS with just the vacuum head over the constriction sleeve and the stretchy cord tied to the leg strap. I can wear it for hours at a time, only taking it off to pee and briefly waking it up then. The tension is very mild, but steady.

This device is so comfortable it is easy to fall into the trap of putting too much tension or weight on and forgetting about it, only to discover that you have injured yourself; blisters count as an injury.

I will say that if Braindrain’s routine was working for you, you should have stuck with it. You could also go back to it while you work out how best to use the Vac-Extender.

I don’t know what you mean by a choker. I also don’t really understand why the Captn’s Wench is only stretching the skin. If you clamp down on hard enough to support weight with it, it will stretch the skin a bit, but you should be able to get a decent hang with it nonetheless. I would maybe wrap the balls, to prevent turkey neck if you feel the skin stretch is that extreme, but you should expect skin stretching with many of these methods.

Choker - Chickenchokers homemade hanger. Really nifty thing, exept it definetely chokes off the blood supply as well.
