Anyone have any advice for a beggining hanger?

Hello everyone. I have recently made an attempt at making my own homemade hanger. It’s loosely based on the homemade bib hanger. It consist of a soft rubber hose, an S hook,2 hose clamps, and a 5lb. weight. I have not had time to pick up some theraband or some inner wrappings so I tried it out with an ace bandage and some aloe vera Puffs brand tissue paper. I found that wrapping behind the circ scar seems to be the most comfortable for me.

My problem begins about 2 to 3 minutes after attaching the weight. My head becomes very cold, begins to darken and numb. I know that this means I’m getting poor circulation and that it isn’t a prefered thing. Usually my gland is always cold anyways unless I am aroused.

I know I have it tighter than I probably should, but I have a small gland and I can’t keep it any looser or it will slip off. I squeeze out the excess blood like I have read. It isn’t painful at all and it goes away after a quick jelq, but I am scared to go more than 5 minutes because of this.

I can really feel it on my ligs and hanging is definately a way I want to go with my PE. Does anyone have any suggestions or thoughts on this?

P.S. I know my paragraphs aren’t paragraphs, I just didnt want it to look run-on so people wouldn’t skip my post. Writing was never one of my strong points, so I hope you guys can forgive me.

Are you using the one with the hose clamp thingy? There are better home-made hangers out there now, though that one was good in it’s day. Look up the Captain’s Wench or Piet’s hanger, they are two good ones I have seen.

The usual causes are wrapping too tightly, or using too much weight too soon so check to see if this is the case. Remember that as the hanger tightens, it make make the wrap even tighter than it was before, so you need a ‘buffer of looseness’.

OK, try leaving a little blood in the head. I would also drop to 2-3 pounds as you learn to hang this way, as it creates a greater risk of injury. You do not need much blood in the head, only enough to give a better anchor. Also, at that weight the hanger should not slide right to the glans. Make sure it is tightened enough before applying the weight. If you can get the hanger tight and attached where the circ scar is, and it still slides to the glans at 5 pounds, it could indicate a problem with your hanger, or you are using too much wrapping, which is preventing the hanger from grabbing the internal structures.

Read, man. Read all the sticky threads in the hangers forum, and do searches. Knowledge will get you a bigger dick, so don’t hold back on this aspect.

Thanks for the advice. I think I may be using to much wrap, so I’ll try to make some adjustments for that. So far 5lbs. seems very comfortable. I tried 2 1/2lbs. and it didn’t feel like it was doing much of anything. I’m actually thinking of making a custumized hanger from a couple of thought I have swimming in my head. Time to check the local hardware store and walmart.
