Anyone hanging with a fulcrum?

Hello all,

Does anyone here hang with a fulcrum?

If I’m not mistaken, Bib’s RSDT fulcrum is what many use, but are there any easier alternatives?

I know that Memento recommends using a pot/cylinder for his V-stretches, so maybe it could be done as simple as that?

The advantage with an empty pot is that you can fill it up with hot water and really heat the tissues while stretching.

I think I will try it tonight.

I still think I will hang mostly SO, but I was considering adding fulcrums to half my sets.

A microwaveable fairly solid gel might be better than water.

A few people have mentioned doing this and it seems to work out OK. The only problem you might have is finding enough clear shaft to rest it on. An alternative is to use something like a beanbag or a rice bag that the hanger can dig into a bit.

Didn’t have time last night, but hopefully I will tonight. You’re right in that it may be a problem to have enough space considering the size of the hanger as well. Hmm…

Now that I got your attention, what’s your opinion on off days with length work?

I know you recommended 2 days off with your routine, but the overriding consensus with the hanger crowd seems to be that off days is a no-no.

I like off days. I understand the consensus, I just disagree with it. The only real backing I have is my own experience. I think PE needs to have elements of the Spanish Inquisition (Python style), your penis must never expect what is coming next.

Does that mean that in your own experience, you gained more with off days?

It would suck to put in all this work and to actually be better off with breaks.

I have 68 consecutive days in a row now without fail. :)

It’s hard to say, really, isn’t it. I’d have to do it again with no off days and compare results.

I think one of the things we fight as PEers is the ability of our dick to build resistance to what we are doing. Doing the same thing all the time makes that much more likely, imo. For instance, maybe a good route to unlock length gains would be to work girth if we’ve been avoiding that.

However we progress, it’s important to modify if our gains falter or stop.

You know if your personal healing cycle is of long duration then it is possible to take days off and not suffer a plateau. Doesn’t work that way for most guys. When the body delivers new collagen to disrupted lattice tissues of the ligaments it is building stronger structures. That’s the whole purpose of the bodies healing processes. Repair and strengthen.

Fulcrums are one of the big contributors to not only length exercises but can contribute significantly to girth growth if combined with angle hanging.

I tried using the pot I’ve used for Memento’s routine in the past, but it was too big when the hanger was attached with my 19,0 cm BPFSL. I will have to either:

1) Use a smaller pot (still not sure it will work)

2) Build a RSDT (which still may give me trouble)

3) Stick with Monty’s occasional “finger fulcrums” during sets.

4) Add 10-20 minutes of Memento stretches outside my hanging routine.

What’s your thoughts on BPFSL contraction?

I (and jb650) seem to experience BPFSL contraction. I’ve registered 19,0 cm BPEL + after I started hanging, but lately, I’m somewhere between 18,5-19,0 cm BPEL. It’s a little discouraging, but hopefully just normal ebb and flow?

What is an RSDT?

I began hanging with weights suspended from a bungee cord looped over a chair. I am experiencing pull from different regions of the shaft, especially nearer the base. I am able to get in 3-4 20 minute sessions per day. Would it benefit to hang longer or for more sessions, which or both?

BPEL can be all over the place for many reasons. It is a very unreliable measurement. BPFSL on the other hand is typically very consistent because it isn’t driven by blood pressure or mood. It is the length of the ligament. BPFSL can be and usually is longer then erect length given that tunica engorgement isn’t involved.

Yes.

I have not measured BPEL in a long time. I don’t dare to.

But this question was about BPFSL contraction. Lately I seem to be less than at my peak or it certainly requires a lot more force to reach 19,0 cm BPEL than it used to.

Asking my question again.. What is an RSDT? I searched and have found no references to what it is or what they are?

Rice Sock Duct Tape fulcrum.

I think it’s built out of a rice sock wrapped with duct tape.

I’ve come up with a way to do it but I don’t know if there’s much point, my ADS is only pulling between 1-1.5kg.
