Any tips on pulley system?

Hey guys I am wanting to create some pulley systems so I can hang straight out and also straight up easily and effectively. Is there any detailed guides on setting up pulleys and does anyone have any tips at all? For straight up should I be laying down with a pulley behind me does that work best? Any help would be super appreciated.

Maybe I will have to create a pulley guide after I figure all this out.

I too am very interested in this. I was thinking some sort of tripod with a pulley attached to the underside of the locus point. Perhaps if it were tall enough you could lie under it for straight up?

I didn’t think of a tripod that’s a good idea! Hope more good ideas keep rolling in.

I am heading out to some local hardware stores and Wal-Mart I will look for some common items to create maybe an all purpose pulley system so wish me luck.

Just buy a load of pulleys and rig them up. Pulleys are not expensive. Or buy a cheap home gym, there are plenty of about and not too much money. Also a home gym is a PE machine in stealth! I am surprised nobody else has thought of it. Of course do not go up in 5kg stages, go up in small amounts.

I have an old bowflex I was thinking about using as my pulley system but that thing is big and heavy. That would definitely be able to work though.

You wouldn’t need any pulley’s if you used Bungee Cords and two anchors. One at crotch level and one at eye level.
The crotch level gives you SO hanging and all the angles you might want. The eye level would give you SU hanging and a couple of additional angles.
One of the beauties is the ease of attachment and loading. Instant release of weight and the ability to call up any weight you want by just leaning back against the Bungee. The only trick here is to calibrate your Bungee to reflect the amount of stress your under so you know what weight your doing.

With this kind of system you can get many angles, and fulcrums to your hearts desire. You can focus on side or top ligs. you can pin-point spots on the ligs for extra stress. Over the leg exercises is just a matter of twisting the hips. It really is a neat way to go.

I made a bracket that attached to my desk that gave me the crotch level anchor. It didn’t bolt on or anything it was just an angle bracket that clipped on the top back of my desk. That way I could put my keyboard on a music stand and multi-task while I went though a set.

My work desk has a “banana board” and conveniently had a hole in it. I hooked my S hook into it which is attached to my home brew Bib and was able to work and pull SO. I work from home, so I have this luxury. I need to come up with some SU routines. I’ve been reading up on Bib’s LOT theory and discovered my lot is like 7:30. Prior to that I was hanging SD and made a half inch gain in 6 weeks. Not sure if I should continue SD since the LOT theory says my LOT should be SO or SU. Any suggestions?

work on one angle as long as you gain length. don’t change anything as long as you gain, just don’t do it.

I agree with wurst The LOT theory isn’t really valid. SO just makes more sense. Hanging SO will bring on new gains for you and in a way that will augment what gains you’ve had from SD. Like wurst says just stay with that until you see a slow down and then just change angles. The idea is to divide and conquer, When you apply stress to the sides of the ligs and to the tunica by angling your going to find that your girth is going to increase imperceptibly for a while but will be evident down the line.

Understand, when I talk about changing angles I’m not talking about angles like SO or SD or even SU I’m talking about OTL and fulcrums from SO. You can even do OTL’s from SU, which would give you a 45 degree angle.

Thanks Monty I love the idea :) , I failed in my search for a system yesterday couldn’t even find a single pulley. I have a great interest in all of this because I realized my cock doesn’t come 2 inches above my belly button but still comes to the same place as when I was 5.5 inches (I am almost certain) so I put a ruler against my belly starting at my base and then measured my penis straight up while laying it on the ruler and it is 5.5 inches.

I can get a measurement of 7.5 NBP when I am pointing straight out so I really think this is an indicator to finally do something other than SD and BTC hanging. Unless it is normal that a penis is shorter when its measured straight up like that?

Are you sure you haven’t gained any Girth?

I wouldn’t worry about the way that your measuring because a ruler is a very arbitrary measurement device.
There are all kinds of ways to cheat and make yourself think you gaining but in reality your just fudging the way that you measure. I did that for a long time until I figured out how to get consistent measurements regardless of any variables.

I wouldn’t spend ANY time on the results of your measuring because as you suspect the fact that your trying to measure with your penis folded up causes the ligs to be in play and if they are at all puffy from a routine you’ll get a very false reading.

You might get more consistency if you measured from your belly button down but even then I think your angle of read on your ruler will be off at best. It’s very difficult to get good empirical data off of a biological unit because it can change so much from day to day. I doubt that you could determine an 1/8 ” of change.
