I have got the straight out and btc down pretty well, but today I am pretty fatigued btc and am doing OTL and OTS. My problem is the head of my penis gets purple fairly quickly compared to btc and straight out. Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong, as the wrapping/hanging setup is working fine btc but not these other directions. Thanks.

Does it appear you are turning or twisting at all when OTL and OTS? I cannot remember an angle having a bearing on the amount of circulation.

It is not unusual to turn darker from time to time. As long as it is not blue and you go for 20 minutes or less, you should be fine. Be sure to check the temp also.

I was not turned or twisted. The way I got less discoloration in the head was to really crank down on the hanger, then wait until the discomfort went away, then crank down a bit more. Since I am only using 1 layer of thera for a wrap it seemed to keep the hanger from moving so far forward. A side benefit was that for some reason cranking the hanger way down actually increased circulation- although I would have expected the opposite. Thank you for your help :) BTW, I do not plan to use cloth at all for wrapping- as thera only seems real confortable for me. As you went up in weight did you just simply add more thera- or did you just stay at one layer and ‘grin and bear it’?

Yes, it is hard to explain this, but it is true. It has to do with the “noose effect” of a loose hanger, as opposed to firmly grasping the internal structures.

Well first, I NEVER “grinned and beared it”. I always tried to be relaxed and comfortable while hanging, even with a tremendous amount of weight. I never found adding more padding or wrap to help anything. In fact, it always made it worse.

You will probably find as your penis becomes stronger, you can naturally hang more weight. Also, as you become stronger, more weight is required to become fatigued. But don’t push it. Only go up as you need to.

Yes take it slow as you start into the fatigued state or trying to stay in the fatigued state. Don’t be afraid of slowing the weight in order to max out in the fatigued state.

You may very well be hanging one half your max during the later phases of the “cycle”. Oh yeah i noticed the discoloration more too with OTL hanging some of it is the direction your dick ends up going and some of it is angle of the hang. Also remember your pretty much looking at the head while hanging in this position so it’s kinda hard not to notice the color change.

Lose the cloth when you feel comfortable without it, you should always be comfortable with your wrap. Experiment with the amount of overlay and tightness as you spiral down to the base it seems to me a little more over lap means a little more comfort when unwrapping. I usually start my wrap at seven o’clock and go counter clock wise. But I’m left-handed.
