Advancement of Penis Hangers Since the bib

Advancement of Penis Hangers Since the bib

This isn’t meant to include vacuum hangers. I am just chatting about compression style hangers.

I’ve never tried a bib hanger. I have read plenty about it though which is why I never tried it. I didn’t know about the bib hanger or hanging in general when I first got into PE. A more affordable and better build quality version of it was made…the malehanger (pretty much just a bib but more affordable). Then the malehanger2 was made to improve upon issues in design that the bib extreme and malehanger had. The malehanger2 is only $40 and will work just as well as any bib.

Now both the bib and the malehanger2 have slipping issues. For some users more then others. I experience slipping with the malehanger2 as I increased weight. Self adhesive ACE can help with this a bit. It seems the bib design has remained the same for quite sometime and new improved hangers are leaving it behind. Even with men having previous success with it, the newer hangers are getting better and better. And even more importantly with these improvements in design and quality happening the hangers are becoming more and more affordable.

I believe the lengthmaster surpassed both the bib and malehanger models. It does this by building upon what was done before it. It is the same compression style but it incorporates heavy duty rubber padding that prevents slipping. It opens at both ends and not just one end like the hinge style of bib and maehanger allowing for uniform compression. It is also not just a hanger but can be used to perform manual stretches with great ease. It is more costly though coming in at over $160 (worth the money IMO). But of course a more affordable tool similar to the lengthmaster, the gripping trainer, comes out at only $30.

Is the bib just an old school cathode raytube television that was left behind as peoples desire for improved TV technology is met and surpassed?

The future is vac hanging.
I know you didnt want to include them but if you ask such as big question then they should be as they perform the same task..
With the advancements on the board it got easier(water or silicone cap+baby powder) to hang more without risk of blister.

More competition is whats needed so people stop charging rip off amounts for PE tools.
I still feel stupid for buying a penomet and sizegenetics for outrageous prices pushed by the commercial PE forums.
Then again the market will never be big enough to produce large amounts of tools and thus a better price by the leading manufacturers I guess.

The Bib is not meant to be a gripping mechanism, in the sense that it needs rubber grippers to stay attached. The point of the Bib is to grasp the internals of the penis, which is why it takes time, adaptation and conditioning to get accustomed to. Malehanger, aka SWM always used Ace wrap, which generally didn’t make for a stable bundle to help the Bib or MH grasp the internals.

Serious starting point: Nov. 2, 2009/BPEL 5.75 x 4.75 inches.

Current BPEL 7 1/2 x 5.5 inches.

Goal: BPEL 8 x 6 inches. Hell, if I hit 8, I'm going for 9!

I don’t feel vac hanging is the future. I feel hanging designs are pretty much at where they will stay. Slight changes in design have lead to greater comfort with compression hangers but the principal of it is still exactly the same. Vac hanging will always be held back by the fact that if you increase weight you increase vacuum pressure. I have tried the water and powder technique and still got blood blisters myself. I am always going to advocate for these companies to start producing videos of their claims. LG needs to make a video showing a man hanging 25 lbs from their hanger. I’d like to see someone hang 25 lbs for 20 minutes straight then remove the hanger and show their glans. I don’t think it will end to well. And also at that vacuum pressure the person will still have to deal with decreased circulation. If I could make the video I would.

I agree about needing more competition. There is an more affordable alternative for every high priced/highly marketed PE tool out there already. I understand how you feel about the size genetics. You didn’t like the penomet?

What? It absolutely is meant to be a gripping mechanism and the bib has molded gel pads inside the hanger that bib describes as, “somewhat delicate,” to provide better grip. It is 2 pieces of hard material attached by a hinge and tightened by a nut and threaded rod. When you twist the nut it GRIPS stronger to the penis. Malehanger has always recommend cutting a piece of fabric out of sweatshirt and if needed b/c of slippage to use self adhesive ACE. I’ve never see him recommend ACE bandage for his tool but it is possible he did write that somewhere along the line. Bib recommends using theraband latex wrap and/or other materials to increase comfort and stability just as every compression style hanger does.

Every hanger takes time, adaptation and conditioning to get accustomed to. The way in which the bib compresses the penis to remain in place while hanging weights is no different from any compression style hanger in principal. They all compress the penis to provide grip and hold. There are only differences in comfort and ease of use based on a given tools design, the users penis (cut/uncut, shape of penis and glans), and the users wrapping methods. And difference in price as well.

Ask Bib himself. I’m paraphrasing what he has told me regarding the hanger. Have a look at the hardcore - same as the MH - no padding. And that’s what it is - PVC padding because those who tried the original production model Bib couldn’t handle just the hard plastic, so he added the padding. It in no ways adds grip to the hanger. And yes, the hanger DOES grip, but it grips the internals of the penis, not the wrap. That’s why you tighten the hell out of it, seriously compressing your penis. It acts as a clamp or vice so that your penis doesn’t slip out - thus the fingers (chambers), so you can still get adequate blood flow.

Go to MH’s site and see for yourself that he has done away with the SS material and only uses Ace wrap. He’s even told me that’s all he does now.

I just looked through the MH site and couldn’t find any mention of ACE wrap either on the main site or through his forum. In his forum I only found info on sweatshirt material and self adhesive ACE. I watched his better fit video in his forum. That is where he suggests the self adhevice ACE. Then I watched his how to wrap videos and it was only sweatshirt and no mention of ACE bandage. I was going to go through the MOS forum to see if he had posted anything there about using ACE but their forum is down. He did thank me for my videos where I show how to wrap for the MH2 using ACE so I wouldn’t be surprised if he is now telling people (you and others) in the MOS forums to use ACE.

It’s a gel padding. Gel padding will provide grip. Put a quarter on a slanted table and it will slide down. Now put gel padding on the slanted table and the quarter will not slide down…grip.

What are you talking about when you say it grips the “internals” of the penis? No matter what you attach any hanger to it will grip it. Whether it is a table leg or a wrapped penis. Both the wrap and the penis are gripped and held onto by the hanger. The wrap is used to provide more comfort b/c if the hanger is used directly against the penis it is very uncomfortable. By GRIPPING THE WRAP and not just the penis it becomes more comfortable.

You only want to tighten any hanger only as tight as it needs to be to hold the weight you are hanging. You don’t just want to tighten the hell out of it no matter what the weight. You won’t tighten the hanger as much for 2.5 lbs as you will for 20 lbs and if you do that is just going to cut off circulation quicker.

The bib acts as a clamp so that your penis doesn’t slip out, so you can still get adequate blood flow…what??? The fingers clamping down cuts off blood flow making blood flow inadequate.

This quote is from bib’s guide, “Moreover, though it may seem counterintuitive, the tighter the hanger the better your circulation will tend to be.” That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever read…LOL. In no instance will tightening any compression hanger lead to better blood flow. That is like saying, tighten a penis clamp and the blood flow improves…no it doesn’t.

You’ve been mislead about how compression hangers work and/or about how blood flow is affected by compression.

MOS is working so I am looking for him suggesting ACE but no luck yet.

On another topic, going through SWM’s forum I came across his before and after pics. I find it so funny how so many guys pics don’t show the full length of the penis (his you can’t see the base of the penis) so you can’t see what angle the penis is at. He could have easily just tilted his penis down a bit making it look like he gained. How hard is it to take legit pics that show the entire length of the penis from an angle that it can easily be seen what angle the penis is pointing. Crappy pics like that lead me to believe the gains are fake and fabricated with camera trickery.

Vac hangers are great for lower weights, zero circulation cutoff but some fluid build up just the same Whixh is not quite as serious.

I have been hanging for the last week with a hanger I built after trying quite a few before it, and trying vac hangers and the LengthMaster. The one I’m using has incredible comfort and retention of circulation and I Ve had no issue with slippage plus it’s really easy to get on and off. I’ve been quick to post about some hangers I’vr made/tried but this one I thought has such potential I really want to use it for awhile and maybe think about any improvements before I post about it. I also have an idea for a somewhat compression style that won’t be really easy to build so I have yet to build it. I’m going to order a bib just because I want to be able to make a comparison, and you really can learn about attachment strategies by trying different ones and observing.

Anyhow while the Bib may be proven I do fully agree with your opinion that there is a huge amount of uncharted water and the best of the best years from now is not likely what it is today, although innovation in this space doesn’t appear that be the fastest moving. I would be interested though in checking out anything that works, the Bib does look to me kind of a torture device and from what I read it has tortured many dicks but then many people swear by it so I think it’s a must try if you are serious about finding or building a great hanger.

In my admittedly brief experience I believe this can be true in the sense that relying on resistance from the back of the glans (sorry not sure the right terminology) results in too much force on the glans to receive and retain blood and constriction is swift, whereas a ‘grip’ that does not put so much pressure on this point is capable of allowing blood to and fro so long as certain points around the perimeter of the penis, namely the dorsal area, do not receive too much pressure.

Where I hypothesize the Bib may fall down just by looking at it is failure to distribute force evenly enough, but, again I haven’t tried it and that may be just completely wrong.

Yeah it doesn’t matter how or what you use to hang the weight as long as it is tolerable for you and causes no injury allowing for increasing weights to be hung over time. Hopefully something comes out of buying the bib for you. I would suspect you can get all the info you could use just by looking at it instead of spending more money then it is worth on it.

How long can you hang with what you’re using now? And what weight are you hanging with for that long?

What did you think of the lengthmaster? I really liked it and I hung up to 27 lbs with it comfortably. I made video showing me hanging 25 lbs with it. I love it for manual stretches and resistant band stretches as well. It’s tough to find people outside of MOS who have used it. It’d be cool if you tried the gripping trainer. it is just like the lengthmaster except it has a narrower chamber compressing less penile tissue which is why I started using it over the lengthmaster. I’d enjoy hearing the opinion of someone who has used multiple hangers. Makes for fun conversation lol.

I understand what you’re saying and it makes sense in theory but their is a reason it is only recommended to wear all compression style hangers for 15-20 minutes at most. B/c they all cut of blood flow.

The most I hang with it is 17.5 lbs for 30 min at a time max although I could do as many sets as I want wih a little rest in between, since switching to SD I am starting at just 10 lbs.

I tried the LengthMaster and I don’t know, for my unit I just couldn’t get comfortable, but hey everyone has a different penis and it can make a big difference with comfort. It’s possible I needed a bigger notch to accommodate circumference.

I can’t wait till you share this hanger. Variations in penis shapes and sizes play a role in comfort for sure

Fair enough. Its Just my observation and feedback with the community.
I have to admit I spoke without having a vac hanger lol. About to receive one and will do some real feedback.
At least at thunders the tendency and experience is to go for more time then weight.

The LG seemed very promising albeit also much too expensive.
And Im meanwhile not sure if all users in the PE community where giving unbiased reviews.

The penomet is a rather good tool, but I bought the biggest pack back then when it was pushed on MOS, and it isnt worth the money.(nor the BM)
A standard pump, much cheaper, beats them anyday everyday.

And thats cause the cylinder vacuum pump market is competitive. They have to come up with new ideas, better quality and gimmicks to make an extra buck.

Thats the great thing with capitalism. As soon as competition is there you can bet that new ideas and advancements come up.
