The only part of that I can agree on with total confidence is the word “probably”. Though if you are wrong, theoretically I could use a 4” hanger on my 5” flaccid and expect the same results as I would with a 2” device.

Beyond this particular discussion I recommend to anyone with a “small” flaccid hang using a home-made Wench that they scale down the 2” dimensions - if anything it will make the hanging process more manageable.

OK I am a little confused here.

I thought the Main point to hanging was to stretch the Ligs- from the diagrams I’ve seen as long as you don’t have your hanger smack up against your body you should be stretching ligs as they do not extend to far up the shaft. Is this accurate?

I thought as you got bigger then you could move it up the shaft (towards the glans) and get the secondary benefit of stretching the internal shaft. For OTS hanging I could see wanting to get higher as (again from the diagrams) it appears the Tunica extends throughout the shaft.

So based on this I am hanging/stretching to work the ligs and Stretching/jelqing to try and work the shaft- am I way off?

Nice description with the elastic bands.

Put your band over the edge of your desk, pull one side straight forward infront of you and the other side straight down, so it is roughly 90 degrees. The thinner and lighter parts of the band are between the anchor points and the desk, which is representing your pubic bone.

OTS hit the inner penis good for me, and so does SO using a fulcrum, which raises the stretch angle. So even if the hanger covers the whole shaft and this part doesn’t take any stress, you can still hit the inner shaft.

I, like you, do not have a long flaccid length. I began hanging about 3 1/2 years ago with a homemade device, and purchased a Bib Hanger as soon as Bib started making them. I have always had the exact problem you described in your first few paragraphs. Either I am putting extreme pressure on my glans, or I am attached at the base, always stretching my skin and getting that lovely burning sensation that accompanies it. All along for the past 2 years, I keep thinking to myself that my flaccid length will eventually grow into the Bib Hanger. Well, it never has. My erect length has grown from 5.75 to 7.25, but for some reason, after a set of hanging, my unit seems to retract further into my body.

Anyway, to make a long story short, I finally broke down last week and ordered a Bib Starter on Jan 7th. Well, here it is only the 12th of Jan, and I’m hanging 15 lbs. with the new Bib Starter as I type this message. EXCELLENT SERVICE ON THE SHIPPING BIB. YOU ARE THE MAN!! NOT TO MENTION A GREAT PRODUCT!

I must say in all honesty, this is the most comfort I’ve ever felt since I started hanging. Considering I’m on my 3rd 20 minute set of 15 lbs, life couldn’t be better. My only regret is that I didn’t make the move sooner.

So to sum it up, if you are new at hanging, or you have a short flaccid length as I do and are considering purchasing a Bib, get the starter. You’ll be happy you did. IM4

Yeah, my erect gains have also been more than my flaccid gains. Some guys, like Johan, have found that to be true. Other guys have made much bigger flaccid than erect gains. We’re all different. Some guys say length gains are easy, but girth gains are hell. I’ve found the opposite to be true.

But I will say this about my flaccid now - it never fluctuates wildly, like it used to, and it never retracts anymore. If I take my old flaccid “average,” my new flaccid is about 1/2 inch longer - and stays that way throughout the day. Also is much plumper. I like it whenever I reach down to adjust it, or take a piss, it’s almost always the exact same size. I believe that fowfers will help me more on the flaccid.

I also own a Bib starter and I definitely plan on mastering the (tough, for me) learning curve some day. Some have suggested that the Captain’s Wench won’t be good for more than 20 lbs or so. I don’t know. I’m only using between 8-10 lbs for my sets. But I’m also hoping that once I get over 20 lbs for 4-5 20-minute sets, I will have gained some length by then. I can see myself using the starter eventually and, if Bib is still in production, picking up a standard Bib Hanger. It certainly is of sturdy design & professional quality.
