45min to an hr hangtime, too much

I’ve been hanging for about 2 weeks now. I’m comfortable with 10 pounds now, and I plan to stay at this weight for a month or so. I hang SD. I try to get at least an hr of hanging every day with 10lbs. But usually I get more, and I throw in some sets with lower weights, sometimes decreasing weight, and increasing weight through out the exercise. I hang SD, just because it’s easiest.

I no longer turtle, though I did at first. Yet I still feel as though I’m getting a good stretch. What concerns me is that I keep reading that hanging should be done for no longer than 20 minutes at a time. That was something a had not known when I started. I have been hanging for at least 30 minutes, but usually an hour straight. Not longer than an hour, however, one hour is usually my goal with each set. I periodically check the temperature of my glans while hanging, making certain that it is still warm. Usually it is, and it does not begin to get cold until my set is nearly over.

I have used a stretcher/traction device in the past, and the rule of thumb was to insure circulation was not impeded for too long. When the glans got cold, stop, and allow the blood flow to continue, then reattach. This is the mentality I brought to hanging.

In addition, it would seem that the longer the set, the better the stretch, just as is the heavier the weight, the stronger the stretch. However, this is just intuition, and reality my in fact run counter.

Whatever the case, I’d really like to know. Is an hour straight of hanging too much, and if so, why? Especially if the glans does does not go cold, and circulation is encouraged afterwards. I masturbated for the first time since starting yesterday, and my erection, at least to me, appeared much firmer, fuller, and even longer. I do not discount the possibly of the the placebo effect, but I definitely noticed a difference.

No longer than 15 minutes man. You can risk cutting off blood flow after like 15 minutes. Just take like a 2 minute break in between your sets to get blood flow back. Overall, if you just stick to it, and you warm up, and you take caution, you will have a successful p.e. Career. The key with hanging is to reach fatigue by hanging heavy and then just do some JAI’s and V’s on top and trust me you will lengthen your penis.

Got that. But what exactly are the dangers of doing so? You sleep on your hand, and it goes to sleep. Get get up, fling it around for a few minutes, and boom, everything’s fine.
How your penis is different is the part that I don’t quite understand. I get that it’s bad. But I’m the type of person that needs to understand WHY it’s so bad.

BIB. The original, I think, not the starter or hardcore.

You can’t hang for more than 15-20 minutes at max with a Bib, because it blocks blood-flow, so you are risking tissue necrosis and nerve damage going over that range.

I don’t get it, if you hung for 2 weeks at an hour per set and you had no coldness of numbing or discolouration, then I don’t see a problem.

Lets face it everyone is different but the general rule of thumb is don’t go over 20 minutes of hang time per set. If it works for you, then I’d say go a head. It’s your penis just be careful.

Also being at 10lb’s so quickly is shocking to me. You must be getting some insane fatigue.

That’s what I was thinking, but I’m still a noob, so I thought I’d listen to the pros.

And yeah it surprised me too. But as soon as I got use to 5lbs, I increased. I hadn’t expected to be able to handling it, but I could. Only for 15 mins the first time. But now I’m up to an hour. And no, I’m not really feeling fatigued any more. I did the first few days. But now I’m a couple in and I feel as though I can hang all day. It’s disappointing actually. I enjoy the fatigue. It feel like progress.

I’ll just say, the aim isn’t to hang as much weight as possible. You want to cause controlled fatigue feeling in your ligaments/ other areas which grows your dick. Only up the weight if you’re not getting enough fatigue. Also hanging in the BTC position should put more stress on the ligaments but it also requires some skin stretching to be done.

You just need to be careful not to up the weight/time to much or it will condition your unit. Anyway I’m sure there is more than one way to make good gains, I’ve just tried listening to bibs methods.

How can upping the time lead to conditioning of your unit ? :) Higher weights and lower time, then yes.

It’s only supposed to be either one set added per week or around 1lb, not both. He’s been hanging for 2 weeks and hanging now up to 10lbs. I guess I just mean upping the weight and time all at once puts alot of stress on the penis and it may adapt quicker that way making gains harder. (In Theory)
