It can. Don’t be discouraged by my experience. The best way for you to judge is experiment yourself. Do 2-3 months of just length workouts (hanging, stretching, whatever you choice), then do 2-3 months with mixed workouts - length and girth. Then see your gains.

Always keep in mind, I (and everyone else) can offer guidelines but I can’t guarantee everything I say will work for you as it did for me. The best way is to try for yourself.

yeah, so far i’m doing 3 sets of 20 min hanging sessions using 6lbs of weight, not sure how to proceed from here, i can’t ever imagine increasing to like 20lbs of weight or anything.. thats scary :(

Hey, I’ve been reading a few threads about numbess . I’ve went from hanging 3lbs the first day to hanging 9 lbs seven days later. Three pounds wasn’t that much to me. But I’m wondering what I should do to avoid numbess. I get some numbness after a hanging session although I don’t think it’s permanent. I use a cable cuff for a clamp and it’s reasonably tight. The hanger is the captains wench. Now, if theres a big risk of numbness no matter what I do. Then should I consider a Bib Hanger or something else? Or quit hanging altogether. I’m still in my early twenties and don’t want any longterm effects well into my late years. Input is appreciated.

A 6 pound jump is a lot, especially at lower weights. Try increasing by 1-2 pounds per week for a smoother transition and hopefully less numbness. Other than that, keep the wench as far off your glans as possible.

What was that thing I heard earlier about a dorsal nerve.. Like. Are the glans the only thing that causes numbness? And does anyone have a diagram showing the nerve bundles and the glans? Please link me to one. Thanks. The wench is like 1/4” behind my head.. Is that good or bad?

I’m sure any area of your penis could get numb if you beat it up badly enough. The nerve bundle is located on the top of the shaft directly behind the head.

There are a few diagrams…run a search for a thread I started awhile back entitled “Dorsal nerve? Slippage?” or something like that.

Maybe I need a different clamp. Right now, I’m using a Cable Cuff. It has clicks on it, meaning it can tighten a lot or not enough. Which can be annoying sometimes.
