13 on / 1 off?
How long does everyone here hang till they take a day or two break?
I have been hanging for 2 months, and am now up to 12 lbs, no pops yet, but gains for sure (1/4 inch).
I know you are going to say “listen to your body, because it depends,” but I am just curious.
Most of the time I hang (1 hour per day (3 X 20min sessions)) for 2 weeks, and take like the 2nd sunday off (13 on, 1 off). Everytime I am ready to hang, my ligs are super sore, even after a little hot pack for 5 min on them as warmup. I just tolerate it and once the first 20 min session is over, they feel like normal. So I naturally continue with the 2 remaining 20min sessions.
I figure I shouldnt change much, if at all, since I am still seeing gains, but I am just curious what your routines are in terms of weight, time hanging per day, and days on/off.
Does anyone here hang for more than 1 hour per day?? Last time I was about to up the weight, I considered just hanging for more than 1 hour, but decided to just up the weight….what are your thoughts on this?
