1/2 inch, 6 Weeks!

We’ll done. I am similar in stats to you and am coming back from several months off and starting to work back to multiple sets and sessions in a day.

I lost some length while resting, but I have gained some back, though I have put some weight on in the interim and so I’m going to follow the path I’m on for now and eventually add fulcrums again because it’s just about the only way to directly hit the tunics and get that deep satisfying ache in the shaft that tells you that you got the message across!


Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Welcome back, bro! I’m not quite sure where to go from here. I lost quite a bit - half inch if I’m not mistaken. I started clamping to just go for girth and realized if I had 20 minutes or more for that, then surely I could hang. I am very limited on time so I only hang 2 sets a day, spaced apart. I’ll do one set when I get home then another set before bed. My lost gains have returned in no time. I thought I had gained, but apparently not. So this is where I’m at - not sure if I should continue at lower angles or start hammering that tunica.

Today I hung at lower angles then decided to do a set of the RSDT hang. As I type, I’m debating what to do for my final set(s) tonight. I think it’s time to do maintenance lower angle hanging to cement and start dedicated tunica work. Man this sucks.

It’s unfortunate that you are getting frustrated.

We can only do so much in this sport without being counter productive.

I am optimistic that doing the three times twenty minutes will be enough to get new gains and that with continued reading here and some experimentation, I will find the thing that will give me growth.

Everything starts with attitude.

Sadly, I’m a pessimist. I’m just frustrated with the unknown. I wish I knew for sure if I was done with gains from lower angle hanging so I can move on to other things. I don’t even want to get like Bib and get up to 45 pounds of hanging just to see if I can squeeze out anymore length from my ligs.

The 3x20 seems to be good because they are broken up, keeping everything in a weakened state. The guys doing hardcore hanging have supposedly made great gains from one time a day at high weights. Granted, they worked up to those high weights, but even the main guy who “came up with it” is now doing 2-3 20 minute sets, at different times of the day.

I think my approach will be one set of lower angle, swinging front to back and one set of RSDT hanging, twice a day for each - and hope I don’t kill my dick. And I think I need to get my hands on an infrared lamp.

Think positive or this will not happen. I changed my mindset when I started all this. When you are not hanging,
do the little things like the piss pull every time you urinate. I started PEing with the hanging exercise and ended up
injurying myself. I went on to clamping. I gained both in length and girth in less than a year. When I found my niche,
the gains came so quickly, but I had an Ace in my pocket I have not PE’d in years and never lost any gains. That’s
another story.

I pretty much stopped PE all together and then decided to try clamping. When I measured one day, I was - 1/2 inch shorter! So I stopped clamping and started stretching and doing the rotary pulls in the shower and was pretty amazed to see my half inch come back in about 2 weeks. Now I’ve gone back to hanging, doing split sessions.

So what is your niche?

Hanging, stretches and jelqs yes, but clamping just ate my EQ.

I think everyone’s niche, or sweet spot, is slightly different and spending too much time following something that worked well for another could just compound your frustration.

Not only did I lose size but I put on belly fat which compounded things for my anxiety.

I had heard of some gaining from clamping so I hoped it would work for me. Instead, it got my schlong fatter and shorter. It didn’t affect my EQ one bit and my wife loved the results.

I think you’re right to some extent on everyone’s niche, but it’s always good to try new stuff. Fortunately, I got back into the gym and lost quite a bit of fat. I’m not sure if I’ve really lost anything in the fat pad though.

It’s funny because when I started gaining girth, my wife loved it - still does. But I asked her if she wanted it fatter or longer. She told me it doesn’t need to get any fatter. Lol, so basically she said length without saying length. So I went back to hanging.

Are you divorced or just separated?

I don’t know where this is heading, but it is painful at present.

Did you manage to get back together?

I went through a similar episode in April and she held out for two weeks before needing me back.

She is showing similar traits this time, though a bit More aggressive.

Hormones, anger, frustration=me leaving well clear of her.

Today I had what I consider to be the perfect hanging sets, and I’m stoked for the next few weeks of P.E.

I hang ten minutes and rest and hang another ten and call that a set.

The first ten minutes I use the heat gun to warm everything, then the next ten I do cold with up to nine pounds depending on the fatigue.

These sets are all done standing at the present and I do a set in the morning, one after lunch and one late afternoon.

We’re still working things out. We’ve always had a challenging marriage, and I’ve always stayed for my kids. I love her but we’ve done a lot of damage to one another through the years and there’s a lot of hurt. It’s easier to walk away, but hard at the same time. We’ve been together 22 years - hard to say goodbye.

Has she looked into natural supplements to help balance out her hormones? There are a lot of great supplements out there. She doesn’t have to suffer senselessly.

Why not do 20 minute sets? Not worked up to it, or just don’t do them?

I wish I could get a morning set in, so I usually do 1 or 2 after work and 1 or 2 more around 11 leading up to bed. I feel the same doing it this way as undid when I would hang 3 hours a day, so I hope it’s actually accomplishing the same thing.

My marriage is less than six years old and we have done some shit to each other in that time, so I understand.

She asked me yesterday to look at her foot because she stepped on something and I told her to go see a doctor. I rejected her attempt for me to touch her and I regretted doing that.

She is camped out in the spare room at present and so the last thing I wanted to do was touch her.

She came to me again tonight and I ended up in the bathroom with her rubbing her foot and running a bath for her before leaving.

Now we are back to our separate rooms while a vicious storm rages outside and stops me from walking my dear dog for fear of frost bite.

Regarding hanging, twenty minutes is a bit long for my comfort with loss of blood to the glans so I break up the set.
