Why no special forum area for ADS? (Page 2)

After I get my 200 posts I won't care.

Then I can post whatever I want on the big people’s forum.

I think this is 118. I could just stay up all night and make 82 more posts, and as long as I am clamped to the computer protesting anyhow…………

Do it! Just start a thread called “200 posts” and start posting the number of the post all the way to 200. It seems like maybe the moderators would frown on that though…

One of the advantages the post restrictions create are for newer members. At a glance they can expect someone with a senior member title to have a certain level of experience with the site and weigh what they say accordingly.

We are just undermining the integrity of the site if all it takes to be considered a senior member is the ability to count to 200.

Ask questions and/or answer questions or share experiences and you will reach 200 in no time and Thunder’s Place will be better for it. :)

I would not want to diminish the integrity of Thunder’s Place in my attempt to improve it. I know I still have a lot to learn about PE before I can post on the big people’s forum.

I’m having another one; “The big guy’s forum”. Say for instance only 8+’ers could start threads there. I would have to work hard and long to get there. It would be an elite part of the forum, and something the rest of us would aspire to, but only a select few would ever get to be ” The big guys “.

For now, I’ll just continue my rabble rousing to garner the support for a more fair and just ADS part to the site.

It would seem like such a small thing to say make the forum ” Stretchers and ADS”. I think that simple change would mean a lot to the many ADS people who aren’t using stretchers, and don’t have the required 200 posts. We would no longer have to feel like such freaks, and It would also give people like Monkey Bar and Monty ( our commercial accounts) the respect they deserve.
