What extender should I get?

Just another few questions about the type of extender.

I have quite a strong tunica that feels very thick and have yet to gain in the BPEL department. Has anyone experienced a similar problem and the extender was able to yield gains?

I am thinking I need to do more upward stretching to target the tunica more. Are there certain types of extenders that are better for upward stretching. I’ve done a lot of downward stretching S, SE, SW and it hasn’t seemed to do the trick.

I dont really do upward stretching as it feels awkward on my wrist and grip so I am unable to hold it for long enough to get a good stretch, so I was thinking an extender could do the trick? Any suggestions?

Thanks :D

silicone cup

You are onto something here, Crazyant. The silicone cup ones (eg Vacextender) work on a vacuum principle. They tend to be more expensive, are more comfortable but can cause blisters.

The vacextender version can be bought as an add on and used with other often very cheap extenders.

The noose is cheap, works but can be painful. Wrapping can help.

My current preferred type is a DIY Velcrostrap mod which can be fitted to many, including the very cheap chinese proextender.

You are wise to focus on features rather than price.

So austfred, can the noose style do upward stretching maintained for hours or only the silicone cup for up. I dont want to spend too much if I can get the same results for less but just spend more time going slower.

Which models have more features as you mentioned?

The VacExtender Mod kit costs $79 plus shipping. I added it (V3) to my X4 over three years ago. Once you learn how to seat (vent) the cap properly you can avoid blisters and reduce the amount of bruising. I am well into my second year with the same red sleeve. I also limit sessions to 1.5 to 2 hours.

My experience is that with most extender routines you need to take a break after an hour or so to stop your glans going numb, regardless of whether you use a noose, vacuum head or strap.

If you do not want to spend too much get a cheap proextender on aliexpress (less than $20 incl post) but make sure you get the version that can use the strap as well as the noose. See how you handle the noose. If you find you get sore try different types of wrap and / or graduate to a DIY velcro strap. If you want to try the comfort of a vacuum head you could then buy a Vacextender head (either V3 or V4) from monkeybar (autoextender) which fits the proextender. Also read widely here at Thunders and possibly at PEGym to finesse your extender technique. That’s probably more important than which extender you buy.

Worked for me who now has now moved on to a LeLuv Slider extender (after getting good newbie gains with a proextender) so I can experiment with stress relaxation extending as suggested by Rootsnatty. That cost me about $60.

Austfred

Austfred, all silicone products are perishable. They degrade when stressed. Noose type and cup type extenders typically use silicone. The Velcro strap modification for noose extenders may be a long lasting replacement for the silicone in noose type extenders. But I found it very uncomfortable. And supposedly, blisters occur with vacuum types extenders because too much tension is applied.

The key to faster gains with an extender is to maximize the number hours you use it on a daily basis. Presently I’m using two extending methods, as mentioned earlier, and it is working out really well. There is the cost factor, but at the same time I want to be done with PE for good, therefore I’ll spend money within my own reasoning. I will probably spend at least $100 dollars on silicone parts before I reach my goal, which is not a bad deal.

Hi Crazyant

>Austfred, all silicone products are perishable.

Agreed. I suppose you should treat them as consumables. You can also cast your own as some have done here using ecoflex,

>The Velcro strap modification for noose extenders may be a long lasting replacement for the silicone in noose type extenders. But I found it very uncomfortable.

The trick is to wrap under the velcro strap. I use a piece of cloth bandage with a silicone comfort sleeve on top. Recently found applying baby powder (corn starch) first stops slipping

> And supposedly, blisters occur with vacuum types extenders because too much tension is applied

Yes I had that experience.

>The key to faster gains with an extender is to maximize the number hours you use it on a daily basis.

Believe that is correct.

One approach I have started doing after plateauing for a few months, at least as far as length is concerned is doing Wantsmore fulcrum stretches using donut type golf weights before I extend - Using golf weights to stretch- the best fulcrum stretching I’ve EVER done. Believe I am growing again.

I attach a one pound fishing weight to the hook on the VacExtender cap and use it as an ADS.

yes

I figured it would bounce around as you walked.

My primary source of gains (5.5” BPEL to 6.35”) was with the use of an extender, but supplemented by manual exercises and the ADS.

I stopped PE completely when vacuum almost destroyed my glans. it is permanently discoloured and there is is some nerve issues also. If you use a vacuum be really carefull. My conclusion is there is no a good strecher in bussiness until someone invents one. Noose type is really bad. Vacuum is good to use but may destroy your glans, I was lucky that I stopped before it was too late.

Aftershock, did your sensation ever come back? I loose sensation from PE as well. But all sensation returns after a 3-6 month break.
