Restorex

Anybody tried the Restorex extender yet?
The clamping method is particularly interesting; they claim it’s both effective and comfortable, but I’d like to hear from real users without the marketing filter of the maker.

If there is something to it, maybe someone clever could design a similar clamping bit that would work with all the other devices on the market already.

Looks like other extenders, but this has a high price, probably because it is offered by PathRight Medical and as soon as you say medical, the price is higher.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

It does not articulate at the base, so it’s not easily concealable, if concealable at all.

This will be an issue for some and not an issue for others.

It would be an issue for me.

Looks like some interesting engineering though.

Restorex is designed for the correction of curvatures caused by Peyronie’s Disease; not for lengthening of the penis. I’ve been using Restorex now for a month and have am beginning to see some results (encouraging, but nothing to write home about.. Yet.) There are 2 primary differences between Restorex and extenders (that I’ve used or seen): 1) Restorex contains a head clamp to secure the penis to the device and 2) Restorex contains a hinge about 1/2 way up the device.

RE Head Clamp: You’re expected to wrap your penis with self-adherent gauze tape. Next place the head of your penis in the top of the Restorex, then close and lock a clamp on the head. This secures your penis to the device. Almost every extender device I’ve seen seems to have an issue surrounding the process used to secure the penis head. Restorex is no different. In my experience, the head must be re-secured multiple times during use. My most successful sessions involved me holding the clamp down onto the head throughout my use of the device. The clamp hurts; no doubt about it. Part of the documentation states: “If during the clamping process or treatment session you experience pain or numbness in the penis, open the clamp, re-position the penis and continue the treatment.” So pain/discomfort appears to be expected. Additionally, the company cautions the user: “1) Do not use RestoreX for more than 1 hour daily or for >30 minutes at a time and 2) Separate 30-minute treatment sessions by at least 30 minutes.” I wonder if these limits are due to the potential damage that could be cause by the clamp. I have found the clamp is my least favorite aspect of my use of the device. But it hasn’t stopped me from using it twice daily.

RE The Hinge: The user is expected to adjust the hinged top half (up to 120 degrees). The device has hinge positions at 0, 30, 60, 90, and 120 degrees. Part of the advised use of Restorex is to attempt to increase the degree of the bend used. So you may find yourself adjusting the device multiple time during a session. I can get my penis to 120 degree position about 50% of the time. 90 degrees is much more do-able. However, I always strive for 120 degrees. Failure to obtain 120 degrees has always been caused by trouble with my penis slipping out of the clamp; not by any discomfort caused by the bend.

My final take away of the Restorex is I would recommend it, if your intended use is for the correction of curvatures caused by Peyronie’s Disease. If you are wanting to use it for penis lengthening, then extenders are cheaper and also designed that use.

Thank you, badfrankie.

I think that really helps us understand it better. I guess I’ll stick with what I’ve got, then, and not go on an engineering adventure.

There are a couple of new clinical studies using Restorex which will be evaluating efficacy regarding length one after prostatectomy and one before placement of penile prosthesis. Might give more insights regarding its application regarding length.

Big cock, tight abs, fit body, strong mind.

Actually, from what I read it can be used for extending. They also say it on site.

I’m using Penimaster and it is a real hassle with the vacuum chamber. It is quite to break, needs lube and hurts after 1 hour.

I need a better solution. I can wear this one at home as traction device, but would prefer to read more reviews first.

05.10.2018: NBEL 15.5cm (6.1 inch), NBEG 14cm (5.5 inches), BPEL 18.5 (7.28 inch).

Extending via penimaster 2h-4h a day.

Goal: NBEL 8x6 inches

badfrankie, I’m curious if you have an update on progress using RestoreX?

For anyone interested I just ordered one. Should arrive this week and I will attempt to do a good job of tracking progress and will report back on my experience. I started some PE a while ago, mostly jelqing and some pumping but fell off with it. I think extending I can stay consistent and should be able to put in some decent hours during the week or weekend. I do not have peyronie’s disease, which it is mainly intended for and much of why I believe the medical journals show positive results but the same methodolgy I think should still work as others have shown on here which is a main factor why I want to try it because the underlying concept makes sense to me.

I will take official measurements but currently about:
BPFSL:6.75”
BPEL: 6.5”

Starting stats: 1/09/16

BPEL: 6.25" EG:4.25"

Goal: 7"x4.75"

I just started using Restorex 2 days ago. The first 2 days are shorter, easier treatments of 10 minutes per session. Days 3-7 you extend the treatment by 5 minutes each, and then after the first week you go into the standard two 30-minute sessions treatment.

I have PD, about 30 degree upward curve and slightly to the left. I’ve hated this condition for so long and I’m happy to be doing something about it. The majority of the reviews I’ve read have been positive, both for helping with PD and restoring length. I think the standard result for most guys is improved curvature of 7-10 degrees and 1-1.5 cm lengthening over a period of 12 weeks. I’m 5.5 long and 4.5 girth now. If I can get those results, I’d be thrilled. I’ll report back in 3 months with my results.

Good luck! Look forward to hearing about your progress, will be great to compare PD vs non PD results! I’m 6 days in right now. Nothing too noticeable at this point but definitely more of an elastic type feel when flaccid.

First post here. I’ve had a RestoreX since August. I followed their 12 week plan and pumping a few times a week. I also did PRP injections 2x early last year, with pumping, and I’m not sure that did much (my glans isn’t the most sensitive, so I was more hoping that would help). After 2 months with RestoreX, I did another set of PRP.. Figuring I’d already accomplished some tear down and the PRP would help with regrowth. I also purchased a Shockwave Therapy machine too. Well, after all of that, I might have gained .25” BPEL (5.75-6”) and maybe .5” stretched (6.75-7.15). Maybe I gained .5” girth too (4.5-5.0”)? I’m not sure I was pressing hard enough on my original BPEL measurement, so I’m not sure how accurate the “gains” are. Since then, I started back up, wearing the RestoreX for longer, but actually broke it 3 weeks ago. I shipped it back and they repaired it for free (I hope so for $500), and have since bought a Quick Extender Pro. I bought the quick extender pro because it looked smaller, and I wear these things while I’m driving to work every day 45-60 min 2x/day.and the RestoreX is bulky. Well, I think the QEP is junk. The silicone loops can’t stay tight enough, and the spring/traction doesn’t feel like it’s doing anything.. And you can only lengthen it so much. The RestoreX is much sturdier, really clamps well, and the spring mechanism is so much stronger. I’m going to work at wearing this at least 2 hours a day (vs. 30 minx2), and work more on my pumping to help with girth. I really don’t have enough private time to jelq for prolonged periods of time (married with 3 kids), but I’m working on it. In march, I’m going to give PRP another go. Fortunately, I have enough disposable income to throw at this and try various things. I have a very slight right curvature, but this didn’t seem to help with it much for the 3 months I used it as such.. But that’s likely due to curvature being very slight.

This is good info. From some posts and I think one of the moderator’s experience, I don’t think he experienced any help from the PRP shots for what it is worth and he has seemingly done everything…

I have the RestoreX as well and started about 1.5 weeks ago. Your stretched length gain seems decent and about the 10-15% gain I’d think is reasonably possible? your stretched to erect length difference is interesting, my difference is currently closer to 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch(6.5” vs 6.75”).

What broke on yours our of curiosity? I’m already suspecting something with the spring mechanism may be an issue long term.

Do you have any EQ issues? I only ask because It’s interesting to hear you had girth gains as no traction study I believe I saw has shown that to be the case(not saying it didn’t happen or that i’ve read all of them, I’d love if it helped me because I need it! lol)

Either way, good luck on the continued use! Have you used it to maintain length or would you say it has been mostly permanent?

How is everyone going using the device?

Thanks! I’m going to try my hardest to resist the temptation to measure every week. Maybe I should wait until I’m 60 days in. Don’t notice any gains yet obviously but what I do notices is my penis is DEFINITELY adapting to the device! I’m only on my third day of the full hour-long treatment and it can already withstand more tension and stretching than it could when I started.

I have a couple more questions for guys who have used Restorex:

1) I know the prescribed treatment is an hour a day, 30 minutes straight stretch and 30 minutes bent opposite the curve. Is there any benefit to wearing it in the straight stretched position for longer periods of time SOLELY for lengthening? According to Restorex there’s no benefit to PD treatment if you wear it any longer

2) Does Restorex help at all with girth gains? I’d be happy even with .2-.3 girth gains at the end of 12 weeks, honestly.

Have been using Restorex for 2 months now with two 30 minute sessions daily. Have grown from 7.1 to 7.4 inches BPEL and can now stretch to 7.75”. Shooting for that 8” mark.

BPEL=7.1 Meg =5.5

Latest BPEL= 7.4" MEG = 5.6"
