Please Help with extender

I am seriously considering spending $300 on the X4Labs Extender. I’m sure that other extenders are similar, but do they work? The website claims that if you wear the devise 6-8 hours a day, you can expect gains of up to an inch within 6 months. Has anyone had success with an extender? Also, I understand that it’s mostly used for length, but has anyone had a gain in girth?

If anyone has any real info on an extender, I would love their input. I really don’t want to waste $300, but I am willing to spend the money if it works.

Hi snowjack,

How long have you been doing PE for?

Have you had any gains with manual exercises? What are your current stats?

I’ve been looking at extenders myself, my own conclusion and opinion is that they will work but you have to wear them as it if it were a full time job, 40hours per week! If you wear the extender 40hours per week that equates to 160 hours a month, in 6months time you’ll have used a traction device on your penis for 960hours, in a year 1380hours. Obviously this won’t be simple, if you have the time and think you will clock up the required hours then go for it. The total amount of hours you use the device will outweight the total amount of manual PE you could ever do, as quite simply it is impossible to jelq or manual stretch for 8hours a day.

Money, if you have the money to spend then by all means spend it on the X4Labs Extender, I’ve been on the website and have checked out what they have to offer, it is like most other extenders but has their own uniqueness to it.

Will you gain an inch in 6months? I don’t know, I haven’t tried/never used an extender but have been thinking about buying one as at the moment I have a lot of free time and can wear an extender comfortably for extended periods of time.

At the end of the day if you buy the device and it doesn’t work I’m certain X4 has some sort of moneyback gaurantee, just read the requirements to qualify.

Goodluck.

SJ, my first PE device was the X4. I don’t remember spending $300 for it, however. It came with one-inch and three-inch extension bars. The one was too short, the three too long. I had to order two-inch bars in order to use it. I’m still using it; in fact I’m wearing it right now with the three-inch bars extended half an inch. So I’ve gained one and a half inch FSL. I first got the X4 one year ago and was able to use the three-inch extension bars after six months.

In the beginning it was uncomfortable if not downright painful, but I persisted. I found the Auto Xleeve to be a more comfortable ADS. The combination of the two plus jelqing (Newbie Routine) have produced satisfactory results. I’ve gained a little more than half an inch BPEL in a year and the flaccid I’ve always wanted.

I hope this helps you. Persistence and dedication pay off in results.

How many hours a day are you wearing it?

I have been wearing one since Monday but my best day so far was only about 3 hours. Still getting used to it.

There are ones cheaper than that which will do exactly the same thing. Shop around a bit, seriously all it does is stretch your dick. You don’t need fancy packaging etc.

Starting Stats - 5.5 BPEL x 5.6 EG

Current Stats - 5.7 BPEL x 6.5 EG

Goal - 7 x 6 (with hopefully a large flaccid hang)

I had an x4. It’s like all the others you see on the net, and I’m sure they all hurt just as bad. Like you I tried to play thru the pain, but it was very difficult. If I had known about Thunder’s at the time, I would have gotten Monkeybar’s AutoExtender. Give his site a look autoextender.com…I think you’ll be better off spending the money on his device(s).

I am currently wearing the Penis master or maybe now they call it the PeniMaster, not sure, but anyways I have been wearing it 4-6 hours a day for 2 months now. The first few weeks were really uncomfortable but after that I think my dick got conditioned from the consistent stretch. In those 2 months, I think (not at home to look at my logs) I have gained a 1/4” in in length. Girth I have gained 1/4” as well, but I don’t see how that is possible since I hear girth is the hardest to gain, but I have been measuring correctly so it must be true.

Stock Cock: BPEL 6.187" EG 5.25"

Current: BPEL 7.00" EG 5.5"

Goal: BPEL 8 EG 6 My new goal is now 9" BPEL X 6" EG So I can blow my wife's pussy walls out!

The X4, the Deluxe package has 3 ways of securing the shaft; silicon noose tube w/foam pad, comfort ribbed strap w/foam pad, and velcro belt. The x4 web site has videos instructing how. One may optionally use noose & strap at the same time if desired, as the fastening cradle accommodates both.

The X4 has “calibrated ” lines on each rod assembly allowing the user to maintain a known amount of “pull”. My lines are at 600, 1200, & 1800 grams. This is in contrast to cheaper extenders that have no way to control that aspect or extending. At the heart of the matter, is mitosis, (google it). Too much “pull” and cells are torn/damaged, scar tissue/cells result. They resist stretching, and do not help you grow in length. Properly used, after getting acclimated to fastening & wearing, it should not be a painful event. If you mis-set tension, try to do in one month what you need to allocate six months to do ( for example), you most likely will have some regrets.

I don’t know if it’s appropriate to post this, but I purchased mine from megasizer.com as it was the lowest price I could find after hours/days of searching and consideration. This was two years ago though, so that’s not definitive. Doesn’t come with all the fancy accessories, had to buy extra supplies. Given the economy, you might be able to contact one of the other vendors and ask for a bargain or pricematch, I don’t know.

I wore it with the strap for several hours a day for several months and didn’t have any length gains. It’s worth noting that I did not do warmups prior to use. The few studies didn’t indicate this, but I do think it is important.

It was uncomfortable. You will not be able to conceal it under clothes, despite what anyone tells you. You will probably have to take it off every hour for a couple minutes to give your sore glans a rest. You won’t be able to sleep in it.

I gave it up for a year, then decided to give it another try, after replacing the springs with 3000gm ones from Ace Hardware (they have to be cut down, but are the same diameter. No part number but you can take the ones from the extender to the store to compare). I am finding the noose works better than the strap for me comfort wise, though it does deform the head a bit. I have noticed maybe 1/8 to 1/4 inch gain in bpel length, but given measuring errors and erection quality, I would not at this point be willing to commit to it being effective.

It is not a precision medical device, it’s maybe a $10 Chinese piece of crap. I’ve seen $2 flashlights with better knurling. On the other hand, it doesn’t have any real competition. So unless you want to make your own you have to pay to play. It’s sorely tempting to design one myself, but I won’t do it until I see gains. No point in building a better mousetrap if it doesn’t catch mice.

The metal reacts with my skin and turns black(the metal) and itches so I scratch till it oozes(my skin). Covering the metal with bandaids was my solution to that. Not pretty, but works okay. Think there’s a brass upgrade that might prevent this, but not for the money they want. Given the recent spate of cadmium tainted products, it would be interesting, I imagine, to take the bars to a materials testing lab.

The tension is not constant. Changing the angle of your pelvis changes how tightly the extender compresses. So the difference between standing and sitting in a chair is easily 1-2 marks on the bars (this is why I went to the stronger springs). Standing and bending at the waist to reach something on the floor will compress it to it’s limit and then some(I.e. Unregulated high tension), so you have to be careful if you are puttering around the house naked doing dishes and such.

Have noted that I seem to have gained 1/4” girth since several years ago. Unlike length, I think that’s less subject to observational error. However at the time of first measurement, I was taking propecia, so it possibly could have been stopping that, rather than results of the extender. (The reason I stopped is that I really did think it had shrunk my dick. Absent a study suggesting such is possible though, I won’t say that was the case)

From my own experiences I think the claims of 1 inch growth in 6 months are total BS, and I think most of the people making claims like that, particularly on X4 forum are shills.

However, I’m not throwing mine in the trash, and obviously I haven’t (yet, anyway) decided that PE itself is flawed. I will be using it in conjunction with manual stretches.

So there you have it, not a ringing endorsement, more like a resigned endorsement :D

Thanks for the input.

I have been doing PE off and on for a few years and have noticed gains from manual exercises. I started four years ago or so at 4.15 EG x 5.25 NBPEL. I have taken a lot of time off between then and now, but am currently at 4.6 EG by 5.5 NBPEL (a little less than 6.25 BPEL).

Does anyone know of a better device than an extender? I don’t know a lot about pumps, but would prefer not to use one. I have reached a plateau on manual stretching and am looking for a way to continue gaining size.

I’m a newbie myself, so read this with that in mind. I started with the x4 extender and used it for two months. I was using the x4 for 3-5 hours a day and had worked up to fairly high tension (~1500gm) but saw absolutely no results. I finally got sick of wearing that thing and switched to manual exercises a few weeks ago and am now beginning to see results. I think that the x4 is probably as good as any extender (and probably better than most), but I wish I has saved my money and bought some theraband, golf weights, Vaseline, and bib hanger instead.

Another thing I want to mention. I thought that I’d be able to wear the extender under my clothes for most of the day. Forget about it! I’m not a well hung guy (~6x5” erect) and I wouldn’t wear anything tighter than gym shorts or sweat pants with the extender on, and it was still obvious that I was wearing it. So, count on the need for privacy for all those hours.

I’ll second pretty much everything that shortD80 wrote, especially regarding build quality (I also had to modify mine by rounding off edges that were causing painful skin pinches) and troubles maintaining consistent tension. I’ve been using a few golf weights ($3 a piece at amazon) to maintain gentle “all-day” tension and feel they are much more comfortable and consistent.

roosterstretch you arrived in a hurry, at ~1500 gm, after two months. It sounds like you were trying to get a years worth of wearing done in 60 days.
I am of the belief that was the cause of the “no results”. Too much tension, too soon. You should contact X4 for a refund.

I sailed along mostly at 600 gm sometimes a little more, for 9 months. It was when my gains plateaued that I would add a bit more. Then one justs wears it, waits, and give it time. My average over about a 7 month period was about 0.2” per month. At the one year mark, my average is still intact. I start out at just under 1200 gm, and leave it alone, don’t usually mess with it. The idea is to just gently stretch it out, hold it there, do this repeatadly over time.

Dangler, it’s interesting that you’ve been seeing results with such low tension for such a long time. I’m glad the device works for you. I don’t think that I was rushing too much with the tension, since I followed the program outlined by x4, and my EQ did improve some (there wasn’t too much room for improvement here — probably went from an 8.5 to 9 on a 10 scale).

Pinching was a common complaint. If you still have your x4, try Monkeybar’s vac-head attachment. That should eliminate all the pinching , as well as the the pain and discomfort of the noose.

Also, you damped up the tension on the springs WAY too fast. Slow and easy, in conjuction with manual exercises are the key.
