Please Help with extender

Thanks for the info Naab. The pinching that I mentioned was not with the strap — I actually found the comfort strap to be quite good — the problem was that, when I aimed the extender down so that I could wear it under clothes, the bottom edge of the base would pinch the skin between my penis and scrotum (“crush” may be a better word than “pinch”). I solved the problem by rounding off the bottom of the base with a dremel and adding a piece of foam between the base and my skin. As I mentioned earlier, I followed the routine that came with the extender, and saw no decline in EQ, so it’s interesting that both you and Dangler mentioned that I increased the tension too quickly. I wonder if it’s worth trying again at 600gms. What are your thoughts on going back to a lower tension? Would there be any point in this, or have I already killed any possibility to gain at low tension by acclimating to higher loads? Thanks for the insight.

Well, I usually suggest a “de-conditioning” break. Not sure what else you may be doing in the PE arena. Maybe 3 weeks of gentle Jelqing, no hanging, just not real clear what to say.

I know there has been a “suggested schedule” however even that was too aggressive for me.

What I have suggested in the past to users in the X4 Support Forum:

Take a week of wearing at minimal grams to get accustomed to wearing it, and to work through fastening difficulties, cut or uncut can factor in.

Go for 1 hour a day the 2nd week.

You can increase the session time you wear it, but check glans often.

Advance to 600 gm. Wear at that level to monitor for growth for 3 months. It is not until you cannot get any more growth with the 600 gms that you migh temporarily use more. Like to break a pleateau. When BPXL bone pressed extended length is increased with the extra grams, back off to the 600 gm & stick with that.

You only use more to get “unstuck”, then return to the gentler “holding it outstretched” force of 600gm.

I am just starting on my third week using the 4x. Three days ago I was able to wear it for over two hours for the first time with very little pain. Last night, I had it on for 3.25 hours without any pain. The only reason I took it off was because I had to pee.

Checkout what ~Dangler wrote in post 17. IMO ~Dangler has the an extremely good method. It’s methodical, and I think, eliminates the fear of toughening the tissue.

Stay out of the rack for awhile like he suggest. How long is up to you. A month maybe…maybe two? But keep doing your manual exersices, just don’t be aggresive with them. When you go back to the x4, try using ~Dangler’s suggestions.

You know your body, but if I were you, I’d take it off every hour to get fresh blood to your glans. You don’t want to deprive your glans of oxygen any longer than you have to.

There are several threads here at Thunders that cover this topic. After reading all of this thread I get the impression that you have not spent the time reading some of the older but still ongoing threads concerning extenders and other ADS devices.

There are many members here at Thunders that have had varied degrees of success with different ADS devices. Some have tried multiple devices over time.

do a search.

I have never used an extender but I do have many months of experience with home made vac ADS devices. I would suggest some manual stretching in combination with an ADS.

Thanks for the suggestion. I do, however, feel my glans every 15 minutes or so to be sure it is not feeling cold. I assumed that would be a good way to be sure it is getting enough blood. Have I made a wrong assumption?

Sometimes I wear the extender 5-6 hours at a time.The thing is not to tighten it so much and don’t use very much tension.I’m wearing it about 1 cm below current BPEL, but I started about 4cm below BPEL and at that time if I tried to keep the extender at the current lenght it would hurt. So, I too believe the progressive aproach is the best when talking about extenders. Plenty of heat before helps and if you could keep heat during the session it could help more.

I wear the X4 for about 30 to 45 every morning after 5 minutes of warm wrap. Then I jelq. Most days I use a three-inch piece of silicone sleeve with a 5.5 ounce steel weight as an ADS. I do fowfers when I can. Bed fowfers weren’t possible when I started, but are now. I knew my FSL had increased when I discovered I could do bed fowfers.

Using the X4 extensively for several months lead to a desensitizing of my penis and I’m not sure I like that.

Are you uncut ? I am and I do notice a little desentizing of my penis because of these many hours I keep the foreskin retracted, but usually the sensitivity returns the next day after a good night sleep.

I think you’re ok. Like I said before, you know your own body.

Back when I was using my x4 I had to strap in extra tight in order to get a good stretch. In fact, I had to use both the noose, and the strap simultaneously. This method not only caused a loss of circulation, it drove whatever wrap I used into my skin with such force that removing the wrap was painful as hell. I tried to remain faithful when I was stretching, but it was so uncomfortable I would dread putting the damn thing on (I also began to callus which I didn’t like at all). Once I began to get use to the pain I had privacy issues, because my wife’s work schedule changed. I wish I know about Monkeybar’s product back then, I would’ve been able to put in more time.

Guess it wasn’t meant to be.

I was wondering if the x4 is ok in water, Can I take a shower (warm could help the stretch) while wearing it without damaging (rust) the equipment?

Alin, I am cut, but am considering foreskin restoration once I’m satisified with my size. Assuming that ever happens…

Dt: I suspect the X4 will slip off in the shower, even if it doesn’t rust.

I have the x4labs…

2 months ago I bought the modified vac extender to transform my extender in a vacextender.

Since that day I’ve never used the regular x4labs ext

I do some manual stretching as part of my worm up/down in connection with my extender. Should I be doing an additional manual stretching routine plus wearing the extender, or does the extender replace the need to do a manual stretching routine?
