I’m new to PE and have bought an extender with 900, 1200 and 1500g tension gradients marked on the sides. When I put the device on and add just a little bit of tension (to have everything sitting correctly) I reckon I’m probably at 800(ish)g so I adjust the rods to meet the 900g line. Now in my 4th week I’m allowing tension to creep up so my sessions are 900-1000g in terms of tension.

I had assumed from the instructions and what I’ve read online that I’d gradually be increasing tension as the weeks/months roll by, taking feedback from my penis as to how it feels and increasing tension when the time feels right. I even had visions of buying higher tension springs a year or two down the line if my love rod was telling me it could comfortably take it.

However whilst reading various sites last night, this guy was saying his research had told him the optimum tension for extending is between 400-900g and going beyond is of no benefit whatsoever and could be doing damage due to scarring etc. He went further by saying manufacturers, aware that ‘bigger numbers sell units’ are trotting out springs with 2000g+ tension well aware it’s totally unnecessary.

What are your thoughts? I appreciate this is just one guys opinion, but if he’s right I’m already at the upper limit of tension that I should ever be applying. Also, when I put my extender on, if I leave the rods at sub 900g tension I reckon there’s practically no traction whatsoever. I appreciate we’re all different and our results will be achieved at different tensions, however do you reckon there could be a degree of truth re: his sub 1000g claims?

Thanks for the replies guys. I think for now I’ll stick with my 900-1000g and work with adjusting rods as and when my penis is ready for the additional length as oppose to upping the tension. I bought the small 1.5cm rods to help with this i.e. smaller rod adjustments. I’m paranoid about building up scar tissue which I understand can happen if you go too strong early on so I’m happier to keep tension lower and take things more slowly. Yes I might build things up to 1000, 1100 and possibly even 1200g however I doubt I’ll ever take things higher than that.

Darkjoe, my understanding on what I’ve learnt so far is a ‘jelly like state’ is the norm after extending

I have been extending for over six years and I rarely go over 1000 gr. and that is when I have been under tension for more than three hours (into my third 1.5 hour session).

Hi, I have my self resarech in the Last ten years, and Buy many stretchers in the Market but all Not Work for me.

All day stretcher with Vakuum are makes uroginal bladder Infektion !only when the stretcher is in the Front of Penis head Open then you can wear without Healthcare problems. Now I wear a simple allday Silicon sleeve stretcher that is without Vakuum.

Please Attention with Vakuum!

Is it okay a 10-12h use of a homemade ADS (elastic tension) that makes my penis go from 4,3 inches flaccid to 5,1?

Also, I’m doing a PE routine that includes warming-up with hot water, some stretching (but not too much whatsoever) and like 10-15min of jelqing.

I find my penis rather more powerful, but don’t know if I’m doing anything wrong -some basic stuff I may be ignoring-.

By the way, I’m 6,3 inches BPEL and 5,1 EG.

Is this a good start so far? 🤔
