My routine consists mainly of extending with the X4, supplemented with manual stretches. And the daily checking in to the forum for updates and motivating tidbits and stories. But it’s occurred to me that its quiet out here in extenderland.

So here’s an open call to everyone else here who is currently using extenders for length gains. I’m curious to know about your successes and challenges, your good days and bad, and any other extender related story you might want to share.

Using an extender is tedious (and sometimes painful) work. Here’s hoping this thread can help pass the time, and serve to motivate us to keep with it, and possibly even contribute to the extender knowledge base.

Amen brother, been using the X4 daily for two months now. Averaging 6 hours a day. I use the band and I can get a two hour stretch from 8:00 am until 10:00 am before I need to take a break. After that, it’s like breaking the seal, my intervals get shorter before needing a break and then back to sentencing my penis back to its medieval torture chamber. I should have gotten the set that comes with the two band system, quad system I think it’s called. I believe this helps distribute the pressure more. I am also maxing out my stretch, which might be too aggressive.

I am pumping regularly, which makes gauging the band settings somewhat inconsistent.

Lol, and the worst is when I accidentally pull some foreskin in with the band slot, ouch!

As you said, it’s tedious work!

Glad to have some company here Javeez. So you’re able to go 2 hours with just a band. That’s pretty impressive. I actually have the quad support thing (and you’re absolutely right that it helps distribute the pressure) but the best I can do with that is an hour 45 mins max. And that’s just for the first stretch of the day. Because, like you, the stretches that come after offer diminishing returns. Anyhow, I think you’re doing quite well without the quad, especially if you’re going at it at max spring loading.

That said, I don’t know how you use the strap alone without having your glans turn purple. When I tried that method, I’d have to unstrap after 30 minutes or so. I’ve found that the strap on the bottom and the noose on top (with the quad system obviously) works best for me.

You’re putting good hours in. Are you also doing manual stretches? I have some of my finest stretch sessions after I take off the extender.

Curious to know how it’s coming along for you with regards to adding rods…?

So the way I increase the tension is by turning the two lower knobs that rest on base clockwise. As they turn they back out from the nuts that are in the base. I turn them until they literally unthread from the base, I then do a full turn counter clockwise to reset them just enough, then push the extender down and off I go. I am not sure if I should be turning those nuts or just the indexed bars that are just above the nuts, either way, I am taking the system and my unit to what I would say is it’s max extension and tension.

My thought is that I will add rods when I feel very little tension in my penis when taken to full extension in the current configuration. I have no idea if and when that day will ever come. Right now I am stretching to just over 6”.

I want to purchase the quad support thing, but the $60.00 is killing me and I believe my wife needs a 6 month break before she sees another penis device on the statement. She’s supportive, but also already thinks I am way too obsessed with my penis!

I pump throughout the day, morning, noon, and late night. Manual stretching usually comes later after my last pumping session. Your approach of stretching immediately upon removing the extender sounds like a more efficient use of the post hang that comes from the extender. I should put some thought/time into that approach.

I am not sure if my pumping slows down the progress of the extender, but I love the girth I am maintaining along with the hang I get once the extender is removed.

I also jelq and clamp, but these are done less consistently, maybe every other day.

I have an excel spread sheet that tracks hours logged on all exercises as well as forecasted and actual length and girth gains. I am currently measuring 5.8” nbpel, 4.875” Eg. Starting stats were 5.5,4.5. However, I do not believe these are cemented gains, I have a vacation coming in November and I plan to take a break from PE for around 5 days, after that break and before returning to my routine might be a good time to take measurements.

We read about extenders providing .5” up to 1” of length given 1000 hours logged; however, there is little mentioned if gains can continue after the 1000 hours? I would assume yes, but would also assume growth begins to slow, so for example an additional 1000 hours might only provide .25”. There is just little mention of what’s possible after the initial 1000 hours.

You can adjust tension either by backing out those knobs or by adding a more compatible length of rods. The tension Guage is at the base of the unit.

You should see 3 lines on the rods at the base. As the device compresses it will cover each of these lines until it reaches the last line. Each line represents 1/3 of max tension provided by your Spring Set. I’ve seen sets with 1800 grams, 2100, 2400 and something higher offered in the aftermarket. I will attach pictures to a post when I leave work that better explain the gauge, as I still own my X4.

Hey guys, it does seem quiet on this board some days.

My routine consists of only stretching with an extender only (x4 labs). I don’t do any manual stretches or jelqs. My lifestyle lends itself to using a extender only. I don’t play with the tension bars at all, I just keep adding bars of length whenever I don’t feel any tugging or if i see that there is no springiness left in my extender.

I started back in March and to date have logged over 825 hours. I use the foam sleeve covered noose style to strap in. I’m uncircumcised so it took me a couple of weeks to get used to it and to figure out how to wear it comfortably. Usually I can do 1-1.5 hours at a time. Rarely is it on for 2 hours at one time. I break it up into multiple sessions per day. I wear it everyday, cause I don’t believe that rest days are necessary for me while doing this routine. I haven’t seen any negative impact on my morning wood, afternoon or evening wood either. So I’ll keep doing it this way.

Purple head and numb head are just part of the process and I don’t obsess about it or watch for it. But when I feel any sharp pinch, pain or discomfort then I take it off for anywhere from couple of minutes to an hour, depends on my activity level.

I realized I can wear it while doing a lot of things, like driving around, light household chores, going to the store etc. If i had to sit or lie down while wearing it, I probably wouldn’t have logged so many hours.

As for results, I’m pleased. I’ve been a grower my whole life and would like to be more of a shower. In that respect my extender is working. I’ve gained in flaccid length (#1 woo hoo) and also a bit of erect length (#2 wooo). My BPFL is now 6.25”, that’s a gain of 1.25”, my BPEL at last measurement over a month ago is 7.25” a gain of .25”. My girth hasn’t changed at all.

Devices like that are what the X4 labs is, only the X4 costs many times more and probably is of greater quality than the one you are linking on Ebay. But they do work, with care and patience. The gains you get are based on how much time you use the device per day, how many days and how well your penis likes the device. My crystal ball is broken, I can’t predict your gains. My apologies.

You’re welcome. I know how confusing this device can be, I misused it for months before going on the forum and getting a dim idea then creating a user ID and making a better idea more easily read. That DVD that comes with it is crappy, to say the least. So if this helps, the mission is accomplished.
