I think I understand now. You use a wrap under the weights to protect your skin. I am talking about a narrow wrap just behind the head, and in front of the weights, to keep them from slipping off.

The scrunchie is a good idea for a skin protection wrap, but I usually don’t use anything for skin protection. All I use is the strip of mouse pad I described above, to keep the weights in place.

And now I understand, too :-)

Yes, I also use a narrow strip of wrist wrap (trimmed) at the head to keep the weights from falling off. I generally apply a cableclamp over that.

I used to use a cable clamp, but it takes a lot of space, and even so, it didn’t work as well as the rubber band and mouse pad. The elasticity of the rubber band is what works so well, plus it is very low profile. You should try it.

Horny Bastard

Thanks, I will. So far, I’m only using the weights at home, so the bulkiness of the clamp hasn’t been an issue. I like it because it’s easy to apply and remove.

RockXP: I’m wearing four golf swing weights very comfortably these days. I also feel that at this point I should switch to Monty’s so that I can move up in weight. I feel my dick is getting kind of conditioned to the present weight (20 oz.). While vets like BG and others probably wish that there was something heavier than Monty’s I’m just thinking about stepping up to his heavier weights. Golf swing weights, while not really that heavy, ARE a good starting point in my opinion. You can definitely injure yourself with weighted ADS-ing in a multitude of ways through improper wrap, jerking the shit out of your unit by snagging the weights on something, wearing them too long, falling asleep with them on….accidentally starting to run with them on and forgetting they were there…..they’re basically the training wheels of ADS I suppose. But even at these low weights I do feel that they work.

<<<BG, so you aren’t concerned about lead against your bare skin?>>>

I’ve asked him this myself and I’m sure others have as well. To date I’ve never come across a reply. BG?

It certainly isn’t something I’d be comfortable with myself.

I used a penis extender for 9 hours a day, x7 days a week for about 2 1/2 years. I think I only gained 0.25 inches from it so I have now decided that it’s not for me and I have dumped it.

Man? Do you know how it feels to wear that thing for 9 hours a day? Not to mention the rest periods that you have to give it every 2 hours - at the most!

Never again, never again. In fact it may even be that the 0.25 I gained might of been from PE’ing and not stretching my dick with a weight! So I think I done the correct thing.

I have to figure something; I thought I had my weights on quite secure well I did for two hours and then the damn things begin falling off.It was not a pleasant experience however I guess I will have to figure something out that will wait for me. Thank God for the fact that the train station was not that busy and no one knew what was going on.

Guys. Lead is only toxic if it gets into your bloodstream. I’ve been wearing the lead weights without the coating for a couple of years with no problems. It’s the only way I can get them on. Besides the smooth shiny lead is much more comfortable against the skin than the rubber, which chafes me a mite. If I have an open sore I won’t wear them, but otherwise I think they are safe.

I’ve been after Monty for years to make a single weight that weighs 2 pounds. I think this would be the ultimate ADS. It would be so simple to just slip one big weight on and forget about it. It could be the length of two peweights but a little thicker on the outside to make up the extra weight. There would be no pinching and it would be stealthy because it would be the shape of a dick. Making it the length of three weights would probably be to hard to worm a flaccid dick into, but the the length of two would be perfect.

Monty says he wouldn’t have enough call for such an item to justify the cost of making the special mold, but I think a 2 pound single weight would be a very popular item. Maybe if we could get enough people interested we could convince him.

However, maybe we should wait till he is feeling better. I would imagine lead weights are the last thing on his mind at the moment.

I know that Monty coated his PE Weights in plastic, but arent you concern that over time bits and pieces go thru the plastic coating and end up on your skin. You might not be aware of this and over time lead gets into your system and does become toxic and might cause problems down the road ..eg not having kids or some other health problems.

I’d be interested in a single, heavier weight. Wearing three or four makes it look like you borrowed the Michelin man’s dick after a while :-)

Ideally, a long, weighted, *flexible* tube with a built-in cinching mechanism. Slip it on, tighten and you’re done. In fact, I was planning to go out and pick up some wrist or ankle weights to experiment with before I read this thread.

I slide 3 golf weights on 12ozs. Then I put my (circle devise)12ozs. On next to the head and that holds them in place. I can wear this all day.

Pay special attention to where it warns of lead toxicity through skin absorption. I would seriously recommend stretching the rings and coating them with something, BG. Perhaps the next time you talk to Doc, you could ask her about lead poisoning from trans-dermal exposure.

Ah, yes, thank you. I’d forgotten about that. Read it when I first joined. But, like others here, I don’t want to deal with raw lead. And I suspect it will etch a coiled pattern on my skin. Neat idea, though. I’ll let you know how the wrist/ankle weights work out.

Suit yourself.
