So I’m rebooting my PE journey. Didn’t work out too well the last time. I was very inconsistent but at the sametime extremely overzealous. I feel one of the biggest obstacles I faced is my eagerness to grow. Trying to do too much at once caused me extreme discomfort which ultimately turned me off from the whole process. This time around I plan on peeling it slow. I’m committed to growing but I’m really just not here for the discomfort. I’m gonna be stretching at my minimum for longer periods of time oppose to stretching at my max for shorter. Being comfortable is a big deal for me. With that all being said, to the veterans and those who have gained in this game, what are some tips you can shoot me? I’m really serious about gaining this time around and any advice you could give me is much appreciated. Thanks.

Although I wouldn’t call myself a veteran as I have only done PE for a little bit less than a year, I do think I have some tips that may help. What I have found works best is 10-15 minutes of manual stretching before wearing the extender. Don’t take it as fact but from the data I’ve collected from several studies you can expect 0.1 inches for every 135 hours you wear the extender. However, these studies didn’t include manual exercises so I believe that you could possible gain faster than this given rate.

Also, many here have gained at a faster rate than this including myself. I suggest not measuring too often or you might get discouraged. For me, even when I see a 0.1 increase in length I try to make myself believe it was some sort of measurement error instead of actual gain. However when I take a few months to measure and see gains of around 0.25 inches, I know this can not be attributed to EQ or measurement error.

You can toy around with intensity. If you feel good strapped in just crank it up some. O

I felt like a set should be at least 30 minutes and not longer than 60. Shake it and restrap.
3-4 hours at least daily. No more than 2-3 days without any stretching. Try to get at least some manuals in.

My pro tip ;)
Do helicopter stretches inbetween sets. Extending is very 1dimensional. Adding some helicopter stretches felt like a breakthrough..

Also switch wearing it downward and upward.
End a day of extending with some edging ,AM or low intensity pumping…. To fill the expansion “in”.

Strapping in try to distribute the area where pressure is applied on the wrap . I added some hair bands for example to give it more stability.

Spot on and I double down on keeping the pumping at low intensity for the purpose of gap filling. This is sound advice!

Would you guys recommend adding a small pumping routine at the end of stretching? I am terrified of jelqing and am looking for safe alternatives.
