Ya, and I looked up the IDW award for industrial design that it references on the front page and I don’t think it is a real thing, or at least it didn’t pop up on Google. For a prank, this is VERY elaborate. I mean it looks better than the sites for 90% of PE products.

Seems like a simple enough modification to me…maybe the Dysonator is listening…

Well with that information still not sure if it was a scam or not.

The product by the other name “extensys 4000” actually used to have an order page. You could either contact them by email or phone to place an order. They didn’t have an online order form.

However in 2007 they did have a link to Amazon claiming they sold it there at that time. No idea if it was truly sold there or not.
