Best Wrapping material

There has to be a better solution than gauze and paper towels and whatnot. The comfort foam stuff is a bit too fragile.

Ideally, the best wrapping would be (or, so I figureth lol :) ) somewhat tough, spongy, and rubbery (grip and comfort) and easily worked. Say, about an 1/8th-1/16th of an inch thick.

Any other suggestions, ideas, experiments, successes with alternatives?

Good morning. I am currently using cut down baby socks as a replacement for the comfort foams that came with my extender. I had read posts about using socks and I must say I wish a hadn’t of been skeptical about them because the are much more comfortable than the comfort foams in my opinion.

You’re recognizing the problem with extenders that I found: they are too damn uncomfortable to wear for a long period of time.

Monkeybar makes an extender attachment he calls a vacextender (autoextender.com). I found that worked better than other options for me. If you still want

That sounds like 3M Microfoam tape to me.. It isn’t cheap, but you can get it on Amazon, and the price per roll is less if you get a case. It is about 1/16” thick, has adhesive on one side, and is tough, spongy, and rubbery.
